I booked a hotel room in Thunder Bay at 11:30 pm on May 6,2002. I was told there would be free parking. When I arrived I couldn't find the parking so I called back to the reservations operator. She tried to call the front desk of the hotel but there was no answer. I then went to the front doors and they were locked. I was not about to walk around the back of the hotel looking for another entrance since it was dark and I already had two individuals come up to me asking for money. When I tried to have my payment cancelled she said she would have to escalate my claim. I have not heard anything back. When I called back again to speak with the operator she said they have not been able to reach the hotel. I told her that wasn't my problem since they were the ones who booked me. The cost of the room came to almost $200 Canadian. Just cancel my payment on my credit card.
