HotelPlanner is a scam. It will not acknowledge that it misrepresented itself and did not explain it was a third party. They pretended to represent the Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Francisco. After learning that HotelPlanner was charging almost $200 more per night for a room I cancelled the reservation and booked the room directly with the hotel. Calls to HotelPlanner (they answer the phone "reservations " pretending to be the hotel) for 2 weeks now about refunding my money have yielded no results. Beware of being ripped off by HotelPlanner!

It was a crazy time to look for a room in Maine because of the Big Nor'easter coming. But this woman just kept trying. She never gave up until I booked a room. They were grabbed up as I was waiting. She was cheery, polite, and optimistic. A wonderful employee! I would have been pulling my hair out if I didn't have her to help me.
He was so informative and it seemed as if he had a smile as he gave the update on the room rates and all amenities. He did his best to inform and offer the best fare rates available. We will stay with your establishment above all others! Staff, including continental breakfast is all a plus! Thank you & awesome home away from home, Hooray!
Tip for consumers:
All went smoothly and helpful. The young man that assisted us was so pleasant too! Maybe give him a surprise with a paid day off and a nice card...or, give him a Lil bonus with his pay! He truly was awesome, Yeah!!! TY

Beautiful room, continental breakfast, great staff with a smile!!! Plus, the Motel always looks so nice and clean!!! The grounds are clean as well. We feel so secure whenever we stay with you!!! Thank you so very much!

I am most grateful and thankful for a very gracious courteous and helpful representative helping me obtain a reservation. My niece is getting married & I am traveling for her wedding. Mr. Karlo Gadin was most courteous, understanding, & patient in helping book reservations. I look forward to my stay. I have stayed with Country Inn Suites many times on my visits to Savannah & have always been very pleased with accommodations & impeccable service of staff members.

I booked 2 rooms at the Fairmont El San Juan Hotel using The Knot "powered by hotel planner" and when I called the hotel to confirm they received my reservation with hotel planner, they have no record of receiving the reservation! I booked >48 hours ago and the hotel still doesn't have the reservation. I'm now out >$3000 and my sister's bachelorette party is ruined, and everyone is devastated! BEWARE!

They charged me two deposits because I exstended my stay. They only returned one deposit. Now I have to sue in small claims for my other $175. Manager is lazy and very rude!. Corporate hides thier phone number because they don't give a $#*! about their guests.
You charged me two deposits and only returned one. The manager is rude. And when caught telling lies you yells that you are screaming at her! Absolutely crazy. Pomona La Quinta is just plain run by crazies!

The front desk employee named Cory was very helpful at Hampton Inn Gettysburg. However, being that the price of the room was higher than I expected, I decided not to book it. That's ok. Eventually, I will visit Hampton Inn Gettysburg in the future. Just not at this time.
Fine. Lots of auto options. Brandon did well. Imagine he was alone at front desk so I'd say waiting time was excessive. System not Brandon.

When he said the price for a 2 queen bed room at Holiday Inn Express was over $240 I told him that I didn't want to book a room and would go onto the website since it was much cheaper. He became very rude and with a condescending tone told me that it was going to be a lot more expensive and after taxes it was going to be the same amount he was quoting. I ended up booking the room online for $149 for a King bed which is what I wanted anyway and taxes only came to $22. The room cost me $180 all included, WITHOUT ANY ATTITUDE!
Great service speaking with Brandon. Such a pleasure to speak with an English speaking attendant that speaks clearly, knows his job and can work quickly! My call was picked up immediately with only on transfer to the reservation desk. Brandon offered options for rooms, clearly explained the details of the cost and room we booked. Very professional!
