I bought a wp theme and authors update killed my site! This has now happened 3X! It seems that many authors are releasing buggy updates so they can scam you to pay for extra support. Be sure to research authors reviews and forums to get a better idea if author is sincere in helping his paid clients.

Be super careful when purchasing product from envato/codecanyon since you will never get a refund. And if you found a product you just need to get, take time and read the author's open forum where clients are asking for updates to fix bugs or reporting bugs. If the author states they do not offer any answers or support in their forums, they are basically trying to hide their buggy scripts. Now that envato/codecanyon brought in 6 months maximum support, it seems that many envato/codecanyon authors are releasing updates that purposely have bugs so that you have to pay for extra support which costs nearly the same amount as your original purchase! For example, an author will have an update that can potentially damage your existing code/website and you will have to buy their support to fix their scam. Do your research! Huge scamming going on by several envato/codecanyon authors. Buy at your own risk!

There are ethical authors who do not scam you but they are getting more hard to find and why you need to thoroughly check their reviews AND their open forums before considering purchase. If author does not answer basic questions from their users, do not purchase from them, they are scammers.

Fast, courteous and answered all my questions in timely matter, two thumbs up, 10 stars! Best edu email service available. Had problems with some other edu email offers from fiverr.com and will only use this service now.

Maybe I am lucky, but no problems with paypal in past 15 years. Minus 1 star for high fees.

Tried fiverr, got scammed, no refund = paypal dispute, I won, but fiverr disabled my account which actually did me a favor. Site is complete joke, they will not respond for support and did not even respond to paypal dispute! Easy win to paypal dispute with fiverr.com since their support is non-existent.

If you get scammed, I recommend paypal dispute, you will win, and they will lose then delete your account, which is what you want.

Signed up with freelancer.com four months ago and have applied for around 30+ jobs. Unfortunately, every job ended up 'expired', which means the job posting was never awarded to anyone. I am now personally convinced that freelancer.com outsources fake job postings and more than likely pays their workers their standard outsource hourly fee of 1.17/hour to post fake jobs everyday!

I am also convinced that the supposed 9 million users are mostly fake or scam accounts. And the legitimate employers are the ones that want to pay you 20 bucks for 100 hours of hard work! I also just read in a freelance poll that 46% of freelancers never receive the full amount agreed upon which shows the great need for better protection for freelancers. Obviously, reading these reviews here, shows this as fact.

In reading all these reviews about people getting ripped off, I am now glad I did not get awarded any jobs because chances are that I would have been ripped off anyway.

The only good thing freelancer.com is good for is for the entertaining reading of their fake job postings, which some are totally hilarious! And I get a kick out of how some of these losers post a job "I want exact replica website like booking.com" with a budget of 80.00 bucks! And then there are 30 bids! WTF? LOL!

If you are willing to work for pennies per hour, then freelancer.com is for you! Or maybe freelancer can hire you at 1.17/hour to post fake jobs. The only qualification, pass an English test and sign a waiver.
