  • Tuffy Riverview

Had never used any Tuffy service center but since this was AAA rated decided to give it a try. Needed new tires and an alignment. Tried to book an appointment online but something went wrong so when I showed up thinking I had an appointment and found I didn't, got worried. No problem though, they got me right in. Figured job would take a couple hours and that was pretty much spot on, including the extra time for a car without an appointment. While waiting in the spotless customer waiting area several customers came in with on the road emergencies. I was impressed with their ability to diagnose issues based on customer descriptions and get vehicles in to be checked ASAP. Very apparent why they became AAA rated

Have purchased several items from this site. Had some delivered to house, usually larger items, and some picked up at my local store. Usually research what I'm looking for then go to store just to make sure they don't have it before actually ordering. Placing order is easy and the expected delivery date is pretty accurate. Only down side is time it takes when you go to store to pickup an item that has come in. May be specific to my store, not all, but when they process the email I received saying item is in they call someone to bring item to customer service. It quite often takes 10-15 minutes from the call for the item to be brought up front and then I have to sign for receiving the item. Pretty much always ask yourself if your time to pickup in store is worth cost of shipping to your home when placing orders.

This company makes gardening beds and similar products, primarily of cedar but has recently added a maintenance free line made from vinyl lumber. Started using their products when we enlarged our screened in lanai several years ago. Have several elevated garden beds and planters that we purchased at Home Depot, Target and direct from their site. Products come disassembled but instructions are straightforward and assembly is easy. Had one issue with an elevated garden bed leg. It literally split along the grain of the wood. Contacted them and they immediately sent a replacement leg. Customer service is excellent and their products are top of the line for rustic gardening pieces and we have made additional purchases solely because of this. Definitely would recommend this company to anyone in the market for gardening fixtures.

Excellent company that does an outstanding job. Grandson just got a Maxima originally from NY so it didn't have window tinting that is so necessary when you live in Florida. Knew brand of tint we wanted from previous experience with tint, so went to manufacturers web site which directed us locally to Tint Studio. Scheduled the job over holidays since car wasn't being used then. Grandson also wanted pinstripe on car so when I scheduled tint job I asked if they could recommend anyone. They said they could do it if I provided pinstripe kit, that was a pleasant surprise. When I brought car in the morning of our appointment they told me it would take a while longer for the pinstripe since they had 9 tint jobs scheduled that day. No big deal to me since car wasn't being used anyhow and they said they would call when car was done. Got the call in the afternoon and they had done an outstanding job on both tint and pinstripe. I've had a lot of cars tinted over the years and this was the first time ever that a company put tape over the window buttons saying not to use windows for 3 days, a small touch I know, but shows how they care about their customers and work. Definitely would recommend Tint Studio to anyone in Tampa Bay area looking for any kind of window tinting.

I'm pretty leery of used car dealers/wholesalers as a whole but found Evo Motors through the car buying service of our insurance company so decided to give them a look. We were looking for a car that would fit a 6'5" driver with size 17 shoes, so there are lots of vehicles out there that flat out don't work. After spending a day at a national used car dealer who didn't seem real enthused with helping us out, we had managed to find some makes/models that would work.
This misadventure led us to the insurance company car buying service to check out local pricing on models that would work. Evo Motors kept popping up and pricing on models we were interested in was good, so we reserved a couple cars we liked online and went there to check them out.
Upon arriving it was apparent that they have a huge inventory but the vehicles are pretty much packed in so you can't really walk the lot to check things out. This really wasn't an issue though because they had plenty of people available to move cars around and get the one(s) we were interested in out for us. Again we spent some time doing fit tests because we were finding that trim levels on some makes/models made a difference. Big thing we found was that we had to have tilt/telescoping steering wheel and power seats, but I digress. We were eventually able to get narrowed down to a specific make/model. After that it was easy to navigate their site on our phone and find specific vehicles in our price range and do a test drive on one of them.
Evo is a no haggle price company, price on their site is the price you pay period, but they were consistently several thousand under what others were charging for the same make/model. Most, if not all, their vehicles are coming off lease so they have been well maintained and have gone through an extensive inspection before being put up for sale. A vehicle history report is available for all cars.
In the end we ended up purchasing a 3yr old vehicle from Evo. Ended up using their financing because it came in a few points under other loans we had already been approved for. Completed their loan application from their site while at home and there were no issues with completing it. The car we purchased was not the one we had test driven, so they set up another test drive. Since we had been preapproved for financing the paperwork process was pretty quick. After test drive car went in for delivery prep while we did the paperwork and by the time we were done the car was out front waiting for us to drive away.
Entire process in dealing with Evo Motors was very positive, employees were very responsive to helping you out and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality late model used car. Only thing that surprised me was that they didn't at least put 1/4 tank of gas in the car before delivery. Had to immediately stop at gas station to fill up the tank; but then again I never asked them to put some fuel in the tank, just sort of assumed they would. My bad!

  • Target

Shopping there since 80s when stationed in North Dakota and Target was a regional, not national store. Always impressed with their service, quality and prices. Sad when we moved away but very happy when they went national and built stores in our area. A Target customer for life!

Ate here a while back for a family gathering and enjoyed everything. Superb service and food was authentic Italian. This is not a pizza joint (but they do offer pizza) and the caring of the kitchen staff shows in the food they put out. Our teenage grandson enjoyed it so much that he asked to go back for his birthday dinner, so we'll be there Fri.

  • Walmart

4/11/16

Site offers all the products you can find at your local store, sometimes even more, and makes shopping easy. No trudging up and down aisles to find the location of the product you want. In my case pickup is extremely easy, there is a Walmart Neighborhood Market right down the street so I have products shipped there at no additional cost. Beats driving 10 miles to get to the nearest super center.

  • S&O Greenworks

In Tampa area you need to take care of your yard all year long. S&O Greenhorns started on my lawn after many "unsatisfactory" years with national lawn care companies. After over a year they have my lawn and landscaping in the best condition ever. They even provide a newsletter that tells you what you should be doing between treatments based on the season you are in. If you live in the Tampa Bay area they are the best company around

Ordered a part for a GE refrigerator. Even though I had normal shipping part arrived the next day and they even included instructions for how to install it.

  • Fandango at Home (formerly VUDU)

Not sure what all the fuss is about, When I want to see something vudu has it. Don't have to drive to red box site (that wastes time & costs $$s folks) and never had buffering issues which are probably caused by your ISP not vudu. Have used for years and will continue to.
