The most horrible of the paper mills. They have stolen $200 out of my total pay. Basically, for one excuse or another, they managed to keep a third of my pay. Don't believe a word they say. Highly untrustworthy. I am posting this in a sincere effort to let you know to avoid this company at all costs. No writer should get involved with them. I am a victim of this scam website. I have had my money unjustly stolen from me. I cannot control what you do, but I do hope you listen so that you save yourself the trouble. They scam every single writer.

Dear Julie, we do not steal writers' money. We are a big company and are not interested in scamming writers. Most likely, some kind of misunderstanding may have occurred. Please contact our Billing Dept. and we will look into the issue. Thank you in advance!

I just started with this company back in September. It seems like they have a lot of work, but I have never really gotten any high-paying work, even though I was qualified to write the order. If they really wanted to create a good system for writers, they would turn it into a take system, like some other companies I've worked for. Then it's just a matter of who is quickest to grab the contract. Writerbay is different, though. They reserve all of the high-paying assignments as a way to favor only certain writers, and then everyone else gets shut out. You can make some money, but it's not much. You're better off going to companies who offer a higher pay per page in the first place, and finding a company where they allow writers to grab the assignments as they see them. This company uses their high paying ones as a weapon, and it does not allow all writers to earn money with their company fairly. If you're not on that extremely short list of writers who get ALL of the high paying assignments, then guess what? You're not going to get any at all.

Thank you for your frank feedback. The order-distribution process in our company is quite plain and rational. Most of the writers can take orders automatically. This is the “grabbing” you explained above. If the writer specifically does not have this option, he can receive the project on the competitive manner, being assigned by the Quality Assurance Department. The project also can’t be assigned due to the set of reasons such as lack of information provided by the client if the preferred writer is indicated.
The more experience you receive, more projects complete, the more benefits you receive, including auto-take option (“grabbing”), more salary, a higher position that will distinguish you in the system. The growing process is built on the constant gradual principle. Everything depends on your’s desire to meet and overcome challenges, new horizons, thereby you'll receive more opportunities for yourself. The company’s functionality is built on a writer’s own experience and ideas to improve the service.
If you have any offers regarding integration/implementation in a name of mutual development and ubiquitous success, we would be more than glad to review your ideas. Our email is support@writerbay.com, and we work 24/7.
