I booked an appointment with Julian through the scheduling feature on his website. I presumed that the time listed was a good time for him, since he was the one listing it as available. I arranged to be alone in my apartment so we could have space to chat freely. We confirmed the appointment time and my birth data. He no showed. We rescheduled for a time he said was "perfect" for him, which was super early in the AM for me as he is in London. But, I got up early and had a whirlwind coffee and breakfast to be ready on time. He no showed again! He then promised to do the reading and email it to me, but he did not follow through. I gave him several months, but he did not keep his promise. Disappointing.

The site advertised a one time fee of $18.99, but they charged me $27.99 a month for several months. I tried contacting the company, but they never responded. I had to fight it on my credit card. Scam. Avoid.

I signed up with my internet name and it used my real name! I could not change it and tried to delete my account, but found that you have to call an 800 number, wait a long time, and then call again, and again, and again. I can't think of another website that I have encountered since maybe 1998 that made me call to cancel my account. As far as the ratings go, it is widely known that the professional reviewers are mostly male and that they suppress reviews on a whim. Not recommended or reliable.

I think renting rooms in your home was the best idea to come out of the.com boom. But, Airbnb needs competition. They are a money grubbing company who charge huge fees and hide the true cost of your nightly accommodation. They are not transparent. They have poor customer service and it's impossible to reach a real human, even when you are stranded in a foreign country, standing at an address that does not exist or that is under construction, with no front door. Yes, both of these things happened to me and I ended up paying for nights in accommodations I did not sleep in several times because they would not respond or help resolve the issue. They do not guarantee that you have basics like running water or hot water or an actual working lock on a door. They just want your money. Most recently, two people cancelled on me for a place I would never have booked a plane ticket to without thinking I had guaranteed accommodation. Airbnb doesn't try to help you find anything else in a similar price range and their "customer service" is not attentive or helpful at all. They need competition!

I wrote to the company when our device stopped working and they asked us to go through a lengthly process of trying to repair it ourselves, and sending videos to them supporting the efforts we made. It is hard to send long videos through email and they would not accept photos. The videos are of a totally not functioning machine that just sits there, but I made videos of unwrapping new batteries and testing them out, etc. A lot of work for a cheaply made device. In the end, I just wanted to see if they would honor their guarantee, but they would not. Frustrating and they lied in their advertisement for the product.

We love getting new coffees shipped to us every week. Normally we try to buy single origin coffee that is sustainably grown and where the people involved in manufacture are fairly paid. There aren't many organic or fair trade coffees available on this site, but there are many single origin coffees (good for the environment because it cuts down on the pollution of shipping lots of coffees around, single origin just comes from one place). The company has deleted my coffee choices and sent me random stuff I didn't want several times. They also change the date of your order "for the holidays" around Thanksgiving, Xmas, and postal holidays. Unfortunately this is not helpful as I wanted to manually select the date myself and the company's software overrides my choices, sending me a coffee I didn't select on a date I didn't choose (thus arriving weeks after the coffee was roasted-the primary reason we use them is to have freshly roasted coffee, so this defeats the purpose!). Overall great idea, but definitely some execution issues to work out.

Tip for consumers:
FYI that during postal holidays, they will change your order date w/o giving you the option to select something different.
