I have been ordering online from Safeway off and on for about 4 years now. I have NEVER had a good experience. I tell myself never again but end up trying 6 months later or so. Today's order has substitutions that I did not select, negating any sale for those items. I was very careful with my substitution choices, and still they messed it up. Prices shown online are not what I end up getting charged. I've gone in several times for refunds, which the store is always good about, but I haven't done that since the pandemic so not sure how it would go now. The website should give you options to add items to your list and to your cart without having to go back and forth. The weekly ad should also have these options. HUGE PAIN POINT for ALL customers. Cannot believe it has not been updated to be more user friendly after all these years! Get it together Safeway! I. AM. DONE. Also, why is the store out of so many items at 11am? Seems the shoppers aren't properly trained or just don't care.
