Kinguin are selling a bunch of gift cards for different sites, there is one site called duelbits and when you buy their gift cards on kinguin you are paying for an example $70 for a $50 gift card unless you find a discount code then it will be $65 instead... It doesn't make any sense why kinguin are taking such high fees and on top of that if you check the reviews there is not one single bad review because all of the bad reviews gets removed so its only "NPC" like positive reviews saying "Oh what a great giftcard"
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us!
Please be informed that when placing orders in our website, there are associated fees which are given as a summary to you on your checkout page prior to completing your order.
Moreover, we would like to provide you some information on the fees applied for the order and why they are being charged. One of the fees being added to an order is the payment fee which is being charged by your payment provider to allow the transaction to go through. Depending on the payment method chosen, this fee can change.
Another fee is the service fee which is a fee used to further develop the platform, the one you are currently using to make the purchase but it also has other uses. In addition to the help with the development, it guarantees that the website stays afloat, which allows you to make the purchase. It also contributes to the wages of the staff responsible for the running of the website, which includes developers without whom the website would not be available, marketing staff responsible for bringing in new customers which keep the money flowing, and finally the support staff, which whom you are having a discussion right now, and who are ready to help with any problems you might encounter in regards to our services.
Lastly, it helps us to pay the sellers that offer their keys on our website - without them there would be no keys to obtain at all.
As for the reviews, we do not remove bad reviews whatsoever. However, the reviews visible on the product page are product reviews, meaning they need to be referring to the purchased product - not to the service, the issue encountered with the key or it's price. We have other channels to discuss these matters. Product reviews need to meet certain requirements, and as long as they do so we will not be removing reviews that are not flattering for the product in question.
We hope this clarifies this matter a bit for you. (:
Kind regards,
Grażyna
