I bought a laptop from Originpc on 12/28/2022. It arrived with issues right out of the box. I spoke to 4 customer support people before one was able to solve the problems, temporarily. I started having issues again in May 2023. Each time you call customer support, the first level of support immediately says "you need to reinstall your operating system" no matter what the problem is because the first level of support is not trained. Escalating the issue will eventually get someone who is trained. The escalated tech support agent told me that I needed to send my new laptop in to be serviced, but because I had the 3 year extended warranty he suggested I wait until January. I asked for a return box to be sent and to speak with someone higher up. That agent was able to get the computer running again. It's November and the laptop suddenly freezes and all applications are running slowly. I go through the usual untrained tech support to the next level and we reinstall windows but it doesn't fix the issue. The tech support agent changes some things in bios and LOCKS my laptop down completely. We're unable to get back into it. He freaks out, and when I frantically ask for someone else he won't ask anyone to help because this is the second time he's done this. I hang up diagnose and find my bit locker key myself using a different computer and I am able to get back into my laptop. I call Origin and insist on getting a supervisor. He does diagnostics and says that my cpu is fried. I send it back in to be repaired. It's now January 2nd. I kept asking for updates about when it would be shipped back and kept getting conflicting information. I talked to 3 people yesterday who all told me that my computer was in queue for either: quality control or shipping. I freaked out, I mean, which was it? At 11:50 that night I get a UPS notice saying that my computer would arrive today, January 3rd. Origin does not value it's customers and first level tech support is a joke.
