I waited sometime before doing this review. I have a 2016 Hyundai Sonata and it was barrowed, impounded and delivered to Ricart. I needed an estimate and then, AGREED UPON REPAIRS.
First Issue: Communication, there was none.
The day I called to tell them I'd be picking my car up and taking it elsewhere I was informed that it was fixed, "IT HAD BEEN FIXED" and I was just about to be called.
I was flabbergasted you fixed my car without consulting with me, without my consent, or authorization, my signature, you just did it and it has been sitting. I reached out to Cindy the service manager/supervisor, higher to express my outrage for what had been done. Cindy was condescending to say the least, as opposed to acknowledging anything, she proceeded to ask me questions that were none of her business, like send me something showing the cost another was charging me to do the work, she asked if the parts were going to be new or used, aftermarket, was I going to pay back my insurance company back the money since it was less than Ricarts estimate? I told my husband and he said the same thing I thought, "It is not your business, do your job." When and where is this line of questioning ever okay to a customer? She told me Allstate Authorized Ricard to fix my vehicle which was a lie as I sent her via email the statement Allstate sent me Stating they authorize amounts, the price for parts NOT REPAIRS ONLY THE CUSTOMER can do that and I DID NOT., they do not authorize repairs, and she said not one word, but was the one who told me that Allstate AUTHORIZED THE. The only time she had no rebuttal, she lied. Heather, Joe, Mortisha all dropped the ball and I would not take my car to Ricart ever again and Oh there's more, we are not done.
They detailed my car and left mud in it, they washed the car and left the writing from the impound still on it. How do you wash a car with writing on it and leave it and think its clean?
I went on youtube to figure out how to remove the writing, SERVICE? The day we arrive to pay for the car the traffic was terrible and we needed to return the rental, we had one day left before we'd be charged. We arrive with 5 minutes left before they closed and my car was not washed until after I paid the amount the girl at the window said was owed, we waited for them to wash my car that should have been waiting on us. The bill was $100 less than what I expected, we got a call the next day saying, come back we didnt charge you for the detailing and you wont, mud is still on my glove compartment, and mud still on my seats, writing I had to remove myself from a car you washed. The nerve to even call me, but you didn't not one time when you had my car, didn't call to ask if it okay to proceed with repairs, did I want you too. Didn't call to ask if the service was good.
