Last year I was a subscriber to the Tampa Bay Times for a few months but then I didnt receive my paper for a 3 weeks in a row. I called and spoke with representatives, requested managers and sent emails but did not get a call back or a resolution. I ended up canceling my subscription. Fast forward to May 2017 where I came across a decent offer for Sunday paper delivery and decided to try again. I received my paper 2 weeks in a row, but again this week, no paper! I didnt even bother complaining. I just requested cancellation! Tampa Bay is a joke! Do not be enticed by their "best value" deal. Easier to go to the local store and get your copy!

I have been using Ebates for a few years now. It is so easy to receive cash back for shopping. They have an excellent customer service department that usually responds immediately or within a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend this to anyone who not only shops on line, but also in stores!

I purchased a Groupon with a "one day 50% discount". Once I checked out, I realized the location for my restaurant was incorrect so I contacted Groupon through instant chat (since a phone number is no where to be found on their website). They told me they will CREDIT my account and apply Groupon Bucks so I can REBUY the correct Groupon. After waiting 10 days for my refund to my bank account, I contacted Groupon via chat again and was told I was not going to get a refund because I didnt apply the coupon code the 2nd time. I told them I thought the Groupon Bucks took place of the coupon code since I was asked to REPURCHASE the correct Groupon. They said no and and that was it. Needless to say, I was not happy, because not only did I now pay full price for my "50% off coupon", I had to be penalized because there was miscommunication. Groupon needs to have more easier access to speaking with a live person so these situations are avoided in the future.

Prior to Christmas, I booked a room on hotels.com for a hotel stay on 12/29 in which I was going to pay for when I checked in. As a Christmas gift from a relative, (who knew I booked a room through hotels.com) I received an e-gift card from hotels.com for which I was to use toward my 12/29 reservation. When I called hotels.com to apply the payment, they said it could not be done (eventhough I havent even stayed there yet)! They offered to cancel the reservation and rebook but the hotel didnt have anymore openings. In addition, if I canceled my reservation, to rebook the same room, it was not guaranteed that I would get it. Now I was stuck having to pay out of pocket AND had a hotels.com that I couldnt even use! What a joke. Stay away from this and use other reputable sites for hotel shopping.

I was skeptical about a mechanic coming to my house to replace a starter in my car, however this service was the best! Not only did Chris (my mechanic) perform only what was needed, but the cost was better than an auto shop. In addition, the service has a warranty and loved that I didnt have to have the added expense of towing the car. Now that I have tried this, I would definitely recommend it to others.
