On Facebook, someone messaged me and claimed they were a "friend" of a Facebook acquaintance of mine, saying this acquaintance thought of me and would be interested in some of their products. I contacted my friend, who said she had no clue who this person was besides briefly meeting them at an Arbonne party someone else was hosting. I tore this person a new one for essentially getting my friend's name, looking up their friend list on Facebook and spamming them with "this lady thought of you and thought I should contact you." An absolute lie that could potentially make things for my (actual) friend really awkward, and who had no idea this was happening. I was infuriated!
Tip for consumers:
The skin care and makeup products are probably fine, but just…I dunno, don’t get involved in selling the stuff. There’s no money to be made and any discount you get by becoming a seller is NOT worth it. I did it for a couple months and earned nothing. My upline pressured me to join even though I told her I didn’t really have the money to get a basic intro package, and afterward called me a liar when I told her I literally don’t have many contacts to reach out to. Don’t support this company.
