Dealing with Amazon Tech Support is a nightmare. I had to contact Amazon customer service three times over a period of two weeks to restore my FireTV service even though Amazon agreed the problem was at their end. One Rep said I needed to purchase a new FireTV Stick which I did, and it did not solve the problem and was an unnecessary purchase. Amazon did nothing to refund the period I did not have service other than to offer a $5 credit. The Reps were rude, did not reference my previous calls, did not call back as promised, and offered no apology.
