I think Yoox has improved alot over the years. Customer service still lacking, but if things go wrong the returns are free (free postage label included with your order) and they do refund you in full as long as you keep the tags on and the item is unworn. There are many out of season items, some from years ago, and some items are overpriced, but... with so many items to choose from I always find great bargains and unique pieces too! Can't really fault them to be honest

  • Trustpilot

I used to think Trustpilot could be trusted until I found out how it works. Big businesses spend hours reporting bad reviews and claim that they are not authentic or that they are from their competitors.

Trustpilot staff then quickly remove the flagged reviews and send an email (in many cases weeks later) to the reviewer asking for "proof" of authenticity. Often times the reviewer won't be even bothered to disclose their personal details, transaction details, e-mail details, etc. so the review won't go back up online.

It would make sense to ask for proof of authenticity before removing the review. But hey... here's the kitcker - big businesses pay to Trustpilot to buy subscriptions! So, Trustpilot is naturally biased and will favour the business. If a business gets too many bad reviews, they can no longer use Trust Pilot as an echo chamber to advertise. Should that happen, Trust Pilot would then lose the subscriber's money!

I thought this was a transparent and unbiased review site, but it's far from it. It is also often used by big businesses for advertising, and I've seen it many times how poorly run businesses have nearly perfect Trust Pilot scores.

There is also an option to "invite" someone to write a review. Of course, no business will invite an unhappy customer to leave a review, correct?

So, what is even the point of Trust Pilot if not false advertising? Also, why Trust Pilot doesn't check the positive review authenticity? You can, as a business yourself, write great reviews about yourself with different e-mail addresses. It's such a circus of a website, yet a lot of people believe it.

Verified purchase

LOTTO or LOTTO LEGGENDA, a sneaker shop based in Italy gets the award for the worst service in 2021!

The shoe sizes are small and irregular, which is not mentioned anywhere, and you have to pay for returns.

But this is nothing... the customer service is what makes it the worst experience. They don't speak English!

Writing copy/paste messages that are not relevant to the questions asked.

Don't waste your money!

Tip for consumers:
Only buy if you are sure about sizing

  • Tinder

Tinder, like most dating apps work much better for women. This is ironic because most paid members are men. And, unless you are a paid member you will be limited to how many times you can swipe (right) in a 24 hour period.

Therefore, unless you are a premium user your chances of meeting somebody are slim.

The standard membership doesn't guarantee you anything, only unlimited swipes. Once you pay for the standard membership, you realize that your likes won't be seen until 24 hours have passed. You have to get the premium membership if you want to match right away.

You get a few free boosts with your membership, but if you want more you have to pay for them too.

Boosts do work however, because they put your profile at the top of search results.

Overall, it is possible to match and meet, but at a cost.

Guys keep in mind that some women use Tinder as an ego booster or a game. Some will have insanely high expectations, some will have "baggage", and all kinds of problems that you may only find out about later. Don't trust everything you see or hear!

Beware of scammers. Mostly it's chinese looking women with unverified profiles. Those are fake photos, and it won't even be a girl behind the profile, but some dude trying to get your money out. Investing, crypto currencies, whatsapp scams, etc. Be careful of those. Tinder in China is used alot by scammers.

Once you are chatting, I recommend to exchange numbers. Give it a few days. You can ask politely what the general rule is and when should you exchange numbers. If she refuses to give her number or even gets offended by you asking, she's not worth your time anyway. It's only a number, everybody asks for it, Tinder itself, Facebook, job applications, and so on and so forth... someone who thinks that their phone number is their biggest possesion are delusional to begin with. It's not like asking for an address, now that's different!

Also, you can use PC web version for Tinder. It makes it easier to click with your mouse than swipe on your phone. You can also install a "free mouse clicker" proggie. Leave the mouse cursor on "like" and let it click away. Later you can simply unmatch who you don't want to talk to. Just keep in mind that if you always click "right" it eventually interferes with the Tinder algorythm and your profile will be moved to the bottom of the pile. Use Tinder passport to move to another location or country where you don't want to date, and bomb dislike everybody there to balance it all out. I must have "swiped" on 3 or 4 thousand profiles and matched with at least 30 or 40. Then spoke to a few girls that I found to be the best matches. It works. If you are tall, great looking, rich, etc. it would be easier, but not everyone is. Some guys do pretend though and lie through their nose, and they do get women, but I strongly disagree with it. Don't scam people, that's not cool.

Most important is that you remember, Tinder is a game. A numbers game and it's not really in your favour. But you can win at a cost. It may be easier to meet someone out at a club if you are confident and don't mind approaching girls. No matter what, don't let Tinder ruin your self-esteem. It can happen, and it can make you feel that no girl likes you. It's not true, because there are many men messaging them already. I spoke with one Gold user who said she had matched with over 2000 guys in just a few weeks. You get the idea! That doesn't mean you are not worthy just the competition is big.

  • Buyee

Buyee provided incorrect shipping address to DHL, and never admitted the mistake. They didn't even compensate the shipping. I nearly lost a high value item, and I will never use this unreliable and incompetent service again. There are other companies that do the same.

Lost $100 because of this service. Huge mistake in shipping. Not nice people that you can not trust it.
