We purchased our wedding rings through Ring-Ninja almost two years ago. When they came, mine was a little to big. We sent them back, got it re-sized and also had them put engraving on them. We had no problems and loved our rings, until this weekend! My ring has developed a crack and a small piece has come out of it. When I contacted customer service about getting it fixed or replaced, since they have a lifetime warranty. I was told that I would have to pay a $20 deductible, pay for shipping there and back, and also pay for engraving again if they couldn't repair it! This is not a warranty! I am very disappointed with this company. I love my ring and would like to wear it with pride, but after emailing back and forth most of the day yesterday, I got no where with this company! Brian(the customer service rep) was very nonchalant about it and even said that their rings tend to break after a couple of years of wearing them!

Brian V. – Ring-Ninja Rep

Hi Pamela,

I am Brian from Ring-Ninja.com, and am here to help. I've reached out to you with a solution several times but had no response.

Our warranty does have a deductible. It works the same for damaged rings, if you need a size change, etc. It's pretty rare to have an issue with damage as I stated, but from the information that you provided the ring was worn for two years, and was now too big and had been dropped several times. To be clear, tungsten is a very scratch resistant/wear resistant metal - however it is so hard that it doesn't have flexibility. Very hard impacts, or repeated dropping can stress it over time. It's very important to have a ring that will fit and won't fall off the finger.

In the event something like this happens - we've got you covered. All you need to do is send in the with our warranty claim form and you'll have a new or repaired ring on the way to you right away. We also offer several non tungsten choices. Many competitors we have also have deductibles, in the $50 price range. One competitor offers a $0 deductible plan but doesn't cover engraving, and their engraving is $35 on re-engraving a ring, even though it's free when purchased.

It should be noted only a very, very small percentage (less than 1%) ever need to utilize our warranty, and we're sorry you weren't happy with ours. However I hope I've cleared some things up here for you, and anyone else with questions - please contact us we'd love to help!
