Since Country Life Vitamins owns Desert Essence, I wasn't sure where to review. The help number is on the Desert Essence website but the recorded message says Country Life. Good luck getting actual customer service help. They don't respond to emails and their 1-800 number just ends up booting you to voicemail (and no one calls/responds back). I was trying to get a status update on a $50 order. I cannot get any help from the company. I won't order from this company again and may have to rethink buying the product, even though I like the shampoos.
I like the glasses from this site and the convenience, but hope you don't have to try to reach customer service. I have had a few issues with orders but it was the most painful process to actually reach someone. Chat is useless, you might be lucky and get a response to an email, and you are also lucky if you can't reach a person via phone and not just get useless information or get kicked off the line. After the latest issue (wrong glasses sent to me), I finally reached a person after a few attempts. Hoping the exchange gets done correctly. Sigh--it's too bad, as the prices are great. They would be so much better if they fixed the customer service aspect.
I do like Timex watches; however, their customer service is ridiculous (or should I say non-existent). I have tried email, phone, chat and cannot reach anyone in customer service. With email, I get zero response. With chat, I get kicked out after submitting a chat session. With phone, I get told to leave a call back number but never get a call back. When I try to call again (during business hours), all I get is a message saying they are closed. Likely only to buy Timex watches from other vendors from now on.
I will update my rating if all my bulbs grow. Service has been very good and items are now arriving for Fall planting. I had an issue with an iris bulb but that is no fault of Brecks. The begonia bulb I ordered this past spring didn't really bloom much so that was disappointing. One downside it Breck's uses Fedex for shipping; wish they used a more reliable company.
I have only ordered a few items. First items arrived in great shape. The second box had some Scotch moss and they looked like they had been tossed around--packaging could have been a bit better. Overall, though, I have been satisfied. Plants are growing--even the moss. They have a good guarantee policy even though I haven't had to test it yet.
I have had great success with J&P (unlike some other online garden companies). Tree roses I bought have had a ton of blooms the first year and other items arrived quickly and in great shape.
Fedex has gone down hill. They deliver the wrong packages to me, keep changing delivery dates, and deliver my packages to neighbors. Even worse, they are too lazy to put packages on my porch. I have a picket fence and gate but they are too lazy to open the gate and take the three steps to the porch. They just drop the packages over the gate. They did this with a concrete garden statue I ordered and broke it in four pieces. I am unable to get another one like this. USPS and UPS are much, much better options. I now ask companies who they ship with before buying.
Never buy from Direct Gardening. The items they send are either dead or die shortly after. I asked to cancel a second order I placed shortly after my first order (I should have read reviews on them first), but got nowhere with cancellation. Plants in second order primarily dead/dried out. Although I asked for a refund, I don't hold out much hope. As another reviewer stated--an expensive lesson but one I won't repeat, as I will never buy from them again.

I love the service but the coupons you offer aren't really straight forward. ( multi150)
The return policy is great. Just could not figure out how to ipdate the prescription.
