Uploaded the PDF.
The MagCloud PDF Viewer showed that everything was good.
Ordered on Oct. 31 to get by Thanksgiving - it was an advent project and needed to get to the client by Dec. 1
12 books printed - and delivered before Thanksgiving but there were Printing Mistakes
I contacted Support
I was told to re-upload the PDF. I did and again it looked good
Again 12 books printed and delivered only a few days before Thanksgiving - and still the same Printing Mistakes.
I was told the problem would be kicked up to Tech Support the Friday before Thanksgiving.
I didnt hear from them that Friday - so I emailed again
I didnt hear from them the following Monday - so I emailed them again
I didnt hear from them the following Tuesday - so I emailed them again
At this point it was Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the deadline was missed.
I had to scramble to patch together the books in some fashion - the client was disappointed and I was embarrassed.
I NEVER HEARD FROM MAGCLOUD AGAIN.
I turned to BLUB (sister/parent company of MagCloud.
What I learned in a live chat each time you respond to MagCloud, you get put at the back of the line. So in other words, punished for advocating for yourself.
MagCloud has served me well in the past but this time they blew it. Not by bad printing but by bad customer service. They provide no clear path to contacting them and it seems email is all they respond to - or rather DON'T respond to in this instance.
The phots below show a screenshot of the PDF PREVIEW on MagClouds Website, and how those pages were printed...TWICE.
