This site says only $25.00 to take the course. No other charges are mentioned until you sign up and pay the $25.00. Once you pay they start asking you to pay $39.00 extra if you want to be able to print out your certificate. Then 4.99 for this, 15.00 for that. If you opt to have the certificate mailed to you they basically tell you that you probably will not get it in time. If you dont have a vehicle registered in your name they want you to print out a form and have it notarized for Identification purposes and mailed to them before you can complete your course. Its one headache after another and they dont tell you any of this before you sign up and pay the 25.00. We took the 25.00 loss and signed up with another company that for a total of 30.00 you get the course and instant certificate.

Tip for consumers:
Stay away

We used comedydriving.com instead and took the 25.00 loss from safedriver.com

Shoplc.com sales jewelry and has an online auction where everything starts at $1.00
The bulk of there jewelry is" sterling silver " and gemstone jewelry.
The problem is they dupe unsuspecting bidders into thinking they are getting a very good deal by saving 80-95% off retail. In reality bidders are paying more than the item is actually worth.
Example: This morning someone was bidding on a sterling silver turquoise ring. The estimated retail value was $299.00 and bidding was up to $137.00
(This particular line of jewelry - Sante Fe Style is very popular with bidders). The estimated retail value is some ridiculous price assigned to a particular piece of jewelry to dupe you into believing your getting the deal of a lifetime.
The actual value for that ring was only $29.99
I see it everyday. People biddding 10 times what the piece of jewelry is worth based on their Est Retail Price and the killer is they will sell it to you without bidding for its actual value from their home page.
Est Retail Value $499.00 = actual value $39-49.00
Est Retail Value $299.99 = actual value $29-39.00
Est Retail Value $139.99 = actual value $24.00

I have also bought "sterling silver gemstone jewelry" that was not sterling silver nor real gemstones. Rings were a mystery metal and gemstones glass. I bought one opal ring where the "opal" was actually hardened plastic with glitter in it. But I have also bought genuine jewelry from them as well. To see the actual value of a piece of jewelry enter the item headline into the search bar from their home page NOT the auction page. The item will pop up with the actual value they are selling it for.

Buyer Beware and do your research before bidding.
You dont want to bid $35.00 on a ring they will sell you for $9.99

Read all the fine print in all their disclaimers before buying or setting up an account with them.
They charged my bank card $110.00 for a $5.00 item I did not want. I filed a dispute on the transaction with my bank. My bank told me they had set the account up as a recurring billing agreement that authorizes them to charge your account at any time without any action from you. They also told me the reason these types of companies charge such high shipping charges ($104.00) is because if you dispute the transaction you can only dispute the actual item amount and not the shipping charge. They are crooks.

I have ordered from them several times. Your not going to get a pair of $300.00 frames for free but it is worth it if all you are doing is paying for shipping. If your buying them just for a spare set then great but if your getting them for everyday use then upgrade to the uv coating and extra scratch resistant protection. Cost $58.00 total for the upgrade and shipping and they arrived 9 days earlier than they said they would.
Overall it is a great deal if your getting your first pair free.

Before bidding on any item or lot go down and INSPECT it first especially when dealing with the city of Houston. A lot of their stuff is trash and you will not know it untill you paid for it and pick it up. By then there is nothing you can do about it. I recently bought a large lot of used laptops. The listing didnt tell me anything about the condition. I won the auction at $450.00 When I got home, none of the laptops had a hard drive, some were missing batteries, several had scratched up screens, broken pieces and so on. They were worthless. Inspect Jewelry from them also before bidding on it. The jewelry looks good in photos. But again most of it is worthless costume jewelry people lost at the airport. I made that mistake too.
