Having previously used this company I was expecting a stress free delivery. Unfortunately my assumptions could not have been further from the truth.
Firstly, after giving a delivery date this suddenly changed to "allocating stock". I contacted the company, explaining that the order was time sensitive due to being a birthday present and was told that the delivery company, DPD, had collected the order and it would be delivered the next day, I had an email from DPD stating that they were expecting my parcel, so assumed there would be no further issues. How silly of me!
The next day, no delivery, no update from DPD, in short, no contact. I then called VioVet again and was told that it had been sent that day, along with further assurances that I would receive the now extremely late delivery.
When checking this morning I discovered on DPD tracking that the order had been returned, so I contacted VioVet, who informed me, after speaking to DPD, that DPD were now refusing to deliver, but couldn't give details as to why not. They were utterly unconcerned and completely apathetic to the loss of a customer. I couldn't speak to a manager as they were conveniently "in a meeting," but the customer service advisor was more interested in clinging stubbornly to DPD rather than retaining a repeat customer.
I trust that the promised refund will be issued immediately, I just hope that they are more efficient when returning my money than they have been throughout this process.
