I paid almost $20,000 for our new HVAC System that was installed November 2021. The system stopped working May 12,2023 at 2:01 pm. It has taken 5 days to get someone out to fix it and get this... they want to charge me for their failing equipment. If your equipment is going to break down a year and a half later why would you even think charging a customer would be ok.
My husband passed away a year ago, I called, left a message, I told them in my message that my husband passed and to please call and walk me through changing the filter and anything else that needed to be done.
Noone ever called. I had to go through many emails to find the one that my husband had been corresponding with, I didn't hear from anyone until April 2023. So in the middle of the hottest days that we have had since last year, we had to suffer through our home temperature of 97 degrees. Today we have a tech out and it is a main part that went bad and you guest it, I am being charged. $180 for a service call and $280 per hour for labor. Excuse me, why would I be charged for something that is under warranty? Is Lennox going to reimburse me? It is their equipment and for the price we paid that equipment should not be breaking down after a year and a half.
