The Minnesota BBB published a press release about my company that contained completely false accusations against me that they did not try to confirm in any way. The libelous and defamatory statement should not have been printed, they should have just stuck to the known facts and nothing more.

It is not legal for anyone to print libelous information against any person or company!

The BBB is a company that takes money from other companies as membership dues and then records complaints about those companies. The BBB is not given any power by anyone, they are not run by the government and they have no special privileges under the law!

It's time the public wakes up and realizes that the BBB is a company and nothing more! Do a search on Youtube and learn more: "ABC News BBB Investigation"

Sitejabber is a joke. The site is not moderated which allows people to make multiple accounts and spam negative reviews. Then they comment on their own reviews which pushes them to the front because they are the most "relevant". Yeah right.

When we spoke with them about individuals making multiple fake names to leave negative comments, they basically said "too bad". All companies will get negative reviews but your positive reviews should outweigh them, was their answer.

That's great in theory, but people only go out of their way to COMPLAIN; the average person will not go out of their way to find some sort of review site to leave a positive review for some business. As soon as there's a problem though, they are all over the internet spamming their complaint as much as they can.

Shouldn't a website like this try and make it so an individual can leave only ONE review for a company? And if that person changes their mind, they should be allowed to edit and change that review or even delete it entirely if they want to.

The BBB is not given any power from any government office, though the average person seems to think it's run by the US Government!

The BBB is a Business, and they are in business to make money. The BBB charges businesses to become "accredited" and then the only service they provide is that they allow people to lodge complaints against them.

The BBB does provide a small service in that you can file a complaint against a business, but they don't tell people viewing the businesses profile that the complaints were satisfactorily settled, and they don't allow for consumers to post a positive review of any business!

Why do BBB execs make over $100,000 per year? Why don't they allow for positive feedback?

Here is an ABC 20/20 investigation into the BBB. Watch this video and learn more about the real BBB.

I would be happy to give the BBB a positive review if they did something positive for businesses.
