Purchased this laptop for my daughter. Didn't realize these computers were "used", not refurbished! Yes, these are used computers and nothing about them screamed refurbished. When you purchase something refurbished, it's like new. You're not supposed to see anyone else's nastiness or dirty palm prints all over it. You're supposed to get it in some safe packaging, not just a bunch of plastic wrap and the laptop itself inside and old USPS mailing bag! FAR from refurbished, let me tell you. These are used! Mine was also cracked, which is why it's going back for a refund! Never again!
This is the first that I've heard about this. I'm sorry, but I'm not sure about your impression of the word refurbished. A refurbished computer is a used computer that has been restored and diagnosed by a professional, with any found issues repaired. Technically, I assure you, none of my computers have "someone else's nastiness" on them. I'm not sure what you would be referring to, but I certainly clean every laptop that I send out. The laptop was shipped in safe packaging. I use standard packaging material and it was definitely not in an old USPS mailing bag. I guess you can't please them all, but I will continue to attempt to do so.
