A disgusting company by any standards of disgusting.
A financial investment company who handle vast amounts of peoples most sensitive personal data and have proven they cannot be trusted with peoples data.
They had a data breach to their system in May 2023 and despite the law saying they must notify customers of a breach within 45 days took 6 months to notify.
Then when customer contacted them for further details were given the runaround.
A financial advisor company lacking in the honesty and integrity stakes - not what you want in a financial company!
AVOID AVOID AVOID - they are bad news

Tip for consumers:
AVOID - nasty company

I ordered 2 glass worktop savers online from Steven Brown Art, who sent the goods via the courier Yodel.
Unfortunately on receipt of the goods one of the worktop savers had got smashed in transit.
I phoned the company and got through to a female member of staff called Caitlin and explained what had happened, then sent her photographs.
She immediately processed an order to replace both worktop savers, even though one of them looked intact.

I was referred to this organisation, who are supposed to help and guide through the process of a complaint to an NHS Trust and 'according to their website, "give people a voice".
The first person I dealt with was from the Isle of Wight and was easy to talk to about the issues and was really helpful and constructive with the advice they gave.
However I was then transferred to the Southampton branch, where the contact and service was anything but helpful or constructive and actually served to do nothing more than confuse, obfuscate and make things a million times worse. They were, quite frankly, just dreadful.
At every juncture the person I dealt with did little else but talk about what they can't do rather than what they can do. The 'advocate' then kept contradicting the advice they were giving from one contact to the next, and promised to undertake actions which never materialised, only to send me 'blame the customer' e mails weeks later. They requested information then would e mail weeks later claiming they hadn't received it, even though a read receipt said they had. It was just one big excuse making exercise which felt like that person was playing psychological games with me. It was horrible and upsetting and caused even further distress to an already distressing situation.
In the end dealing with the person became so bad that I couldn't face having dealings with them and asked to have someone else assigned. This request was ignored and my case closed, but only after they had left me completely confused and crippled from moving the situation forward.
Overall they served not to "give me a voice" but to quash any chance whatsoever of me having a voice!
If you are offered the services of Southampton Voicability.org - avoid avoid avoid!

AVOID BURGER KING AT GUNWHARF QUAYS - it is rank and should come with health hazard warnings.
I went to Burger King at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth and ordered a takeaway bacon double cheese burger.
Firstly the male staff member who served me kept addressing me as "love" in a slimy tone like some sexist throwback from the 1970s. Do men still actually behave like this in this century - just ugh!
When I opened the burger it was utterly rancid and unfit for human consumption:
Firstly it was cold.
The bread roll was stale, rock hard around the edges and inedible.
The cheese slice was rock hard around the edges and inedible and resembled hardened plastic.
There was a tint sliver of bacon in the burger which was cold and had lumps of congealed fat on it.
The whole thing smelled most odd.
It was obvious this burger had NOT been freshly made and had been lying around for some considerable time. I questioned whether it had been made several days previously.
It was rank.
I really didn't want any further encounter with the sexist male so I threw it in the nearest bin.

AVOID THIS PLACE - it should come with a health hazard warning.

This review concerns my experience of using Currys "LIVE SHOP"... a process that almost makes one lose the will to live!

I decided to buy an expensive new laptop and having decided upon the precise make and model found that only Currys had current stock.
So I went onto their website to try and find the telephone number of my local branch to ring with queries before ordering. The website only gives you a national telesales number.
I rang said national telesales number...only to be met with an auto announcement that you cannot buy any products on the telesales number.

All auto options on the national telesales number just send you round the houses and direct you to their website as clearly the people at Currys don't like talking to their customers.
This is then followed by an assumed breach of data rights in using your telephone number to text you some link to "Live Shop" without doing a mandatory check on whether the customer is agreeable to their data being used in this manner.
So I typed the link address sent by text into my laptop, only to have a pop up box stating "this is unavailable"! How ridiculous!
Unable to access via laptop I clicked the link via my mobile phone and got through to a male based somewhere near Essex - he was quite helpful and knowledgeable and I placed an order.
You are then sent an e mail link to pay. I duly used the link to enter my card details and like all good card providers they send a code to your phone to confirm and verify the payment.
My phone duly pinged and as per normal on mobile phones I minimised the 'Live Shop' screen to access text messages and view the code as is normal when using mobile phone apps...minimising the Live Shop screen immediately cut me off.

The same thing happened SIX more times, until one of their operatives spent significant time getting me to try numerous different routes to access 'Live Shop' on my laptop. Eventually it gave access.

So that operative processed my order for the SEVENTH time and we get all the way to entering the payment verification code...at which a pop up appeared with the words "Ooops something went wrong".

Seriously Currys - your system is beyond imbecilic and you need to sort it out into a workable system, preferable before my prediction of "Currys - coming to a bankruptcy court near you soon" becomes reality!

I feel sorry for the staff of Currys who have to work with a system that is clearly not fit for purpose and has been designed and operated by imbeciles

Be prepared to be driven to alcoholism or despair if you use Currys Live Shop

Charlie from Safe and Solar Window Film of Fareham, Hampshire, came and gave a quote for window film to all the rear facing windows of my house. His quoted price was extremely reasonable and less than half what I had been quoted by another company for a better and stronger product.
He did an outstanding job and was polite and pleasant throughout and at the end was very tidy and took all the rubbish away.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Safe and Solar.

Situated in a local shop at Hunts Pond Road, Park Gate, Hants, there is parking directly outside.
I wholeheartedly recommend this local business for repairs to all things tech, including phones and laptops.
I took my laptop there as some keys had become detached from the keyboard. It was repaired on the spot and the staff would not charge me for a small repair.
They receive many local recommendations from friends of mine and around local recommendation pages and have a 5 star reputation.
I would certainly return when repairs to phones and laptop required.
Very professional

I rang for advice.
The person I spoke to asked me to explain what had happened, then instead of letting me explain she literally interrupted after every sentence in an overbearing, impatient and rude way. She insisted on sending me a guide to grievance procedures, but had she listened instead of talked at me all the time she would have known I have already exhausted grievance process.
A pointless and useless service - no wonder employers get away with abusing the law when this is the only place the abused can turn to for help!
ACAS make false assurances that you can remain confidential. I wrote an identical review on another review site and ACAS are demanding my personal data or removal of the review. After my recent experience with them I have no desire to have any further contact and certainly wouldn't trust them with my personal data.

Until recently this company were called "My Little Eco Shop" then recently changed name to "Honestly Eco", although there is little that can be described as 'Honest' about this company.
I would advise ptoential customers to check the comments on several of their old Facebook pages called "My Litttle Eco Shop..." (there are several).
I placed an order for 3 items. The promised delivery timeline came and went with no sign of the goods. One month later one of the items ordered arrived, but was unusable as it was damaged. The other items were never sent by the company.
I sent an e mail to the e mail address provided with the order acknowledgement, and received a response stating they no longer use that e mail address. I searched and found the new company name and a new e mail address, so I wrote to that and received an acknowledgement thanking me for contacting them and advising that they are a 'small team'!
There was no offer of resolution, replacement, refund, or attempt to address the issue raised.
One month later and I have still had no response to resolve the order issue, so I wrote to them again. This time they completely ignored my e mail.
Thankfully I paid via Paypal who have agreed a refund.
Having gone onto the company social media pages there is an avalanche of dissatisfied customers who have paid money and never received the goods, and have then been ignored when they contact the company to query the failed order delivery.
The company appears to change its name with frequency, whilst accusing its customers who complain of not receiving their orders of bullying them and making announcements to that effect to garner sympathy.
They then block dissatisfied customers from the new pages under the new company name, even though the customers have merely commented about not receiving ordersand have certainly not done anything akin to bullying etc.
Basically this company lack honesty and integrity and their custimer services are beyond atrocious.
So people -AVOID THIS DISHONOURABLE COMPANY at all costs.

Tip for consumers:
AVOID THIS DISHONOURABLE COMPANY

I didn't - I ordered products and the company failed to provide the goods ordered
