I am a beginner at candle making. Can you please walk me through the steps for a successful strong smelling candle. I am using 16oz. mason jars, warm my jars; heat wax Golden wax 464 to 185; pour at 135;use eco 14 wicks and 1oz. fragrant oil per lb. They smell great cold but not a good hot throw. I never used your oils yet, but have tried several other candle supply companies. Some smell and some don't. What am I doing wrong?

All that you are doing is correct except you need to stir your wax for 3 minutes at least to well incorporate the fragrance oil into the wax... I have found that it makes a big difference for your hot throw... I would recommend using Natures Gardens F/O's.
