So, I was without a room at Copley Sq Hotel by way of a third party seller on Nov 20,2020- the night before my flight home from Boston to LA, and these great people gave me a rate a good $50 less than rack rate due to my circumstances... thankfully. It was a wonderful room, GREAT shower, and they were so kind - and a savior of sorts to me. I will never forget their kindness in checking with mgmt (Taylor) to approve my reduced rate at the last minute (Friday nite in pandemic era), so this is just icing on the cake. Love, loe, love Courtyard AND Marriott! Was even able to meet up with a high school friend and share our meal in their lounge area, after trying to eat outside on a cold Nov night at Rochambeaux. So very thankful for the women working the front desk that night AND the next morning!
I stayed here April 30th-May 3rd, 2023 to attend medical appointments at MD Anderson at the medical rate. There was miss communication with the front desk personnel who cancelled my reservation, then I was rebooked at double the rate for my last day. I was told by the front desk manager that I could look elsewhere for hotel reservations (she told me this as I was headed out to my appointment). This is poor customer service in my opinion. I did receive an email from the hotel stating "I hope you choose to stay with us again". I was expecting a phone call to hear my concern. Everyone wants you to fill out a survey but no one wants to hear what you really have to say. No happy with my charges!
