LinkedIn is instrumental for networking and professional development, providing a platform to connect with colleagues, explore job opportunities, and showcase skills and accomplishments. Whether I'm seeking career advice, recruiting talent, or expanding my professional network, LinkedIn offers valuable resources and insights to support my goals. I appreciate the community engagement and educational content, as well as the opportunity to stay informed about industry trends and news. LinkedIn has become an essential tool for advancing my career and professional growth
I've tried to stay clear of LinkedIn until a friend recommended I stay "active" to network and meet new industry leaders. Sadly, everyone on this site is a leader. The amount of spam and unwanted contact is staggering. I got more active to find better employment opportunities and pay. What a joke! In two years on this site, I've received 2 interviews. I've fallen prey to resume rewrites and interview practice sessions. After 2 weeks on Indeed, I've had 5 application reviews and 2 interviews. I can't wait to delete my profile.

I subscribed to LinkedIn Recruiter Lite for a full year, and was never able to make sense of it on my own. When I tried to request help, I found there is no way to talk to a person, and all I got for my trouble was a call from some outsourced business development firms from India who started drilling me with questions about how many hires would I be making in the next year. Good riddance!

B2B Rocket has completely transformed our sales approach. The AI agents are incredibly efficient in identifying and engaging with potential leads, saving us valuable time and resources. Highly recommend giving it a try.!
The services rendered by linkedin are subject to communist propagandists reviews. If they dislike your beliefs they'll ban you indefinitely. Unfortunately it'll take a bit of time for people to figure out this is NOT an open networking tool for everyone but for the socialists and communists.
Tip for consumers:
Their customer service is lazy and careless; they rely on AI to make banning decisions.

LinkedIn has been instrumental in helping me expand my professional network and advance my career. The platform's user-friendly interface and powerful tools make it easy to connect with industry professionals, discover job opportunities, and showcase my skills and experience. I appreciate LinkedIn's focus on professional development, as seen in its robust learning platform and informative content. Moreover, the ability to join groups and participate in discussions allows me to engage with like-minded professionals and stay up-to-date with industry trends. Whether I'm searching for a new job or seeking advice from seasoned professionals, LinkedIn provides valuable resources that empower me to achieve my career goals.
I have been trying to get a refund from them for over a week now! I signed up for the "free trial" of premium. They say they will send a reminder email 7 days before charging your card; yet I received no such email. The minute I received an email regarding the charges, I explained the above, requested a refund & cancelled the "free" subscription. Their error has also cost me, a disabled senior, additional costs in the form of an NSF fee from my bank!
Also, the majority of "job listings" turn out to be scammers. I've also noticed that every time I apply for a job that is posted on their site, the amount of spam emails I get are ridiculous!
None of this is acceptable! Do yourself a favour & stay far away from them!

What the $#*!. I tried to get into my LinkedIn Account but it's inaccessible. They deleted it because they saw some "suspicious" activity. Bunch of blockheads and $#*!s.
It's arguably the best social network for recruiting. Plus if you have a corporate account you can post some essential information about the company and its changes.
Anyways it is a must have for all the job seekers and entities.
Regardless of the number of job applications an individual submits, they consistently encounter rejection. Despite possessing extensive experience and expertise, it seems that certain companies, albeit unintentionally, exhibit a preference for candidates who are not of Hispanic descent. This observation may raise concerns about discrimination, as it appears that platforms like LinkedIn consider one's name or Hispanic background as decisive factors in being overlooked or denied the opportunity for an interview or employment. This bias persists even when the individual possesses qualifications that surpass the requirements sought by the hiring company.
Linked in is the WORST when it comes to customer service. There is no clear way to contact them and when you do, they come across very aloof like they're doing you a favor. I would like to use Linked in again but honestly I wish there were another platform! There seems to be no way to contact them unless you're on their platform.
Tip for consumers:

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are the foundation of many economies, representing a huge portion of work and financial results. However, they often face huge obstacles when beginning to exchange another market or area. These obstacles include a lack of information about neighborhood markets, subsidizing or supporting choices, tracking down the right clients, keeping steady over the opposition, finding the right group, managing monetary issues, keeping awake to date on industry patterns and market improvements, shaping vital associations with different organizations, investing in innovation and advanced frameworks, and being proactive about searching out help from outside sources. With dedication and hard work, SMEs can track down effective fixes to defeat these difficulties and arrive at their objectives.
Difficult to edit profile, the profile settings are way too restrictive, and customer support is nonexistent. I maintain a free profile only because it's free and occasionally supplies interesting info about colleagues and friends. Otherwise I have zero use for this overrated app that is only getting worse.
I submitted a request for a high level account breakdown/summary based on a spreadsheet I was given, and Nerdify's data analyst really helped me understand the best manner in which to make sense of the information. They were incredibly responsive and answered all my questions in a timely manner, and gave me the means to come up with projections and a compelling presentation. I healthy recommend them for data analytics since they're excel masters!
They don't allow you to cancel a subscription from mobile, only on desktop. Got another $99.99 from me with their greedy subscription set up.
Tip for consumers:
Don't buy.

I believe LinkedIn is time well spent and a fantastic resource for job searching and professional networking. It has proven to be very beneficial for me and has given me the opportunity to meet and expand my social circle once you get comfortable with it and learn how to weed out the bad and scammers.
Even if you are not actively looking for work, creating a profile on LinkedIn is a great way to get your resume noticed by employers. It keeps you in touch with both former and present coworkers. You can sign up for a free account on LinkedIn, and important people frequently search through resumes and applicants, so even if you're employed, your application is still there and you still have a chance to land your dream job because more and more employers are now using standardised online applications, which increases your likelihood of being hired. LinkedIn also gives you the resources to research the companies before the interview, which is another benefit. You may.
Tip for consumers:
The LinkedIn app has been enhanced with LinkedIn Jobs.
I love visiting this site in terms of business because most times, it will connect you to your target audience making it easier to hook you up. It is just good for business match-making.
After years of using (on and off) LinkedIn (I don't like LI particularly... But working in the branch I work in, I need it), I decided to try their Premium.
The first month is free, isn't it?!
Well, LI Premium is OK. The training/courses are very nice. Some other additions too.
It is expensive, though. Therefore, I decided not to renew. Next, I got an offer I could not refuse. 50% discount for the following 2 months.
I accepted the offer on February 7th, 2024.
Last week, I needed to hibernate LI for a few days. Only to see, after activating again (two days later), that my Premium was gone.
When I tried to renew, I had to pay the full price. Starting immediately.
When I finally found where I could contact support I sent an email. Why do big companies almost make it impossible to find support contact information? And make a FAQ where your question never is mentioned?!
There was no reply to the online help request, no I received an"email that the amount will be refunded. From a "no reply" email address. I don't want a refund.
So, I responded to the case in my LI account.
Guess what?! You cannot hibernate with a Premium account, so your account automatically will pushed to a normal account when you hibernate.
And guess what?! They will not refund you until you complain after activating again. This is my conclusion. Thus, receiving a lot of money that they had do to nothing for.
I checked the page where you hibernate your LI account (screenshots attached).
There is no info that Premium will be cancelled when you hibernate LI.
There is info about this on another LI info page, yet not when hibernating.
This is purely to get themself covered by law, don't tell me about it. Have done the job.
But, in fact, it is scamming!
I requested the email address where I can file a complaint. No answer.

Be sure you never Hibernate when buying LI Premium. And when you need to do it, request immediately a refund. They will not refund themselves. and thus earning a lot of money with this.
The worst company ever. No support and no respect to its members. They block accounts, ask for ID to verify and then do nothing. Account is not woking. No support, and most importantly no understanding form them (((((((((((((((((
I am an active member of LinkedIn since 2017, and it's an amazing experience to be a part of LinkedIn family. This platform helped me to promote my profile from local to global organizations. It enabled me to communicate effectively with HODs of different companies. It creates opportunities for its members to become professionally successful. There are thousands of members, who got their desired jobs through LinkedIn. I always love this platform.
Tip for consumers:
It's an awesome platform for professionals to hire someone or get job.
Unfortunately if you aren't on Linkedin you will be judged - unfairly. I've applied for jobs only to have the hiring manager ask me why I'm not on Linkedin like it's some sort of professional sin. Most of the people on the site are egotistical narcissists who can't stop ranting and raving about how successful and talented they are. And the old line don't compare yourself to others? Well that is exactly the point of Linkedin, hell that is point of all social media and basically what is wrong with our world today.
You get job references without a resume based on your experience. It's also a great way to keep in touch with colleagues.
Don't waste you time with poorly designed webs, there's better options out there, even Facebook sadly and Kijiji.
I've recently started using LinkedIn, as I will soon be graduating into a "real" profession! I really enjoy the professional development courses that LinkedIn offers with their premium subscription. I'm very, very busy with graduation preparations and final assignments and forgot to cancel my free trial. As a full-time student with no real income, I can't afford the price tag right now. So, naturally, I panicked when my credit card was charged the full subscription price. The charge date had snuck up on me. I immediately canceled my subscription (not that it did any good now, ha), and messaged the customer support team on Twitter. I explained my situation and left my email address that's connected to my LinkedIn account. The next morning, I got a notification (this was maybe 12 hours later) that my charge had been refunded, no questions asked. One less stress for me to deal with! A heartfelt thank-you to "KW" for helping me out so quickly and efficiently. Your hard work has not gone unappreciated.

Something happened to my account that I was unaware of and I was blocked permanently. When I tried to contact LinkedIn to fix the problem There was no way to contact them. Absolutely piss poor customer service!
When using this site to look up professionals i couldn't find anywhere else, I was locked out. It asks you to solve puzzles to see if you are human but then it doesn't allow you in. It doesn't tell you why. At first i thought Linked in Was a Social Media thing, now i see it's more of a cult. If you're not linked in you are linked Out.
