I have been ordering from Simons online for a few years now and have bought clothes and jewelry from them. Everything is good quality and arrives quickly. I recently ordered camisoles from them and they fit perfectly. I highly recommend them.

I am housebound and used Fortino's delivery service for about a year. They have a "policy" of charging more for online groceries than for the in-store items. They don't give a reason for this. My bill for a week's groceries was sky-high. That would be before the cost of delivery. In addition, the quality of the work done by the shoppers (who also deliver) was inconsistent. Some people were great but others did things like badly bruise the bananas in transit from the store to my house because of the way they packed and handled them. I had to throw out some bananas because they were more than 50% bruised from bad handling. I mentioned this in more than one feedback request but never saw a change. From week to week, I never knew if I would get a good shopper or an incompetent one.

Today, I tried Metro.ca and am very happy. The produce was fresh and unbruised and the bill was about $50 less than similar products from Fortino's. I will be using Metro in the future.

I am housebound and was ordering delivery from Fortino's in Hamilton, Ontario. They have a "policy" of charging more for online groceries, even before delivery and other charges. The company gives no reason for this. While this was aggravating, I did not have many choices until recently. Today, I tried the Metro online grocery delivery and they were great: the produce was fresh and unbruised and the delivery person was polite and cheerful. Best of all, for a week's groceries, the bill was about 50 dollars less than for similar products from Fortino's.

Vesey's has good bulbs and flowers that are hard to get elsewhere and they fix problems promptly. In 2014, I ordered a few hundred fall planting bulbs. They accidentally sent too few of one type of bulb which I did not notice until the spring when the expected bulbs didn't come up. (I hadn't counted the bulbs when they arrived - just assumed they were there.) There were too many missing bulbs for them to have died during the winter, especially since the other bulbs bloomed with no problem. I emailed Vesey's. They gave me credit at my suggestion since I wanted to order from them again in 2015. I received the correct number of this year's fall planting bulbs in good time and am looking forward to next spring. I am very pleased with their professional and courteous service and found their bulbs to be beautiful.

I have shopped online at the Canadian online site and have been very happy with the quality of the products and their service. I once wanted to return a stoneware set because the real colour had not matched the screen colour when viewing online. They reimbursed me with no problem. It is such a pleasure to deal with a good company.

I ordered the following tulip bulbs from Flower Bulbs R Us: Perestroyka, Hamilton and West Point. They were less expensive than the same bulbs in other online sites and also offered some that I couldn't get elsewhere. They arrived in the fall of 2014 in good time to plant and almost all of them came up the following spring even though the winter was freezing. They look magnificent.

I recently received a flyer in the mail from KFC and decided to give them a try (hadn't ordered from them in awhile). I ordered delivery of medium fries and 6 Dip'em Strips. They arrived quickly and were hot and delicious. The chicken in the strips was good quality. The only thing that wasn't great was the delivery charge. It would be nice to have free delivery or a lesser charge.

I bought a Dimond Banded Captiva lamp from Canada Lighting Experts at the end of November, 2014. When it arrived, it was defective: a pile of washers and a large nut were exposed underneath the harp of the lamp. It was also not very good quality for the approx. $160 cost. The return drop down menu gave me only a replacement option for defective products. I wanted to return the lamp and get a refund so I checked 'did not like quality'. I was informed that I would have to pay for the return myself. Because of the ridiculous size of the box that the lamp was packed into, I found out that the delivery charge would have been $130 Cdn.! I cancelled the return (I would not have been reimbursed.)

I am now stuck with a lamp that I will never use because Canada Lighting Experts will not give the option of returning a defective item for a refund and will not reimburse the return cost. I also think that their time limit of 30 days is too short, especially during December when there are 3 fewer business days than usual. I am extremely unhappy with this shopping experience.
