Flying out from Gatwick EasyJet were checking bag sizes with lots of people and charged us £40 each cabin bag, yet last time we flew they were ok?
I had to saw the wheels off each case to get them back home without being stung again, we have been flying with EasyJet for over 30 years and have never had this, it ruined our trip as we could not believe we had spent £50 on smaller cases and then had to pay another £80, this we feel let down by EasyJet

My wife booked a function room at your hotel, she also booked 3 rooms to stay for us and family.
When we paid for the catering she asked to pay for the 3 rooms,as 2 of them were for her son & daughter and this was their Christmas present from her, Irene said this would all get done.
On the day they said the rooms had not been paid for,as payment never went through? Embarrassing at the reception desk for my wife, as she was annoyed that no one had contacted her. What made it worse was our daughter paid for her room as they said it had not been paid for.
It was my wife's 60th and where a bit disappointed that after spending all that money there was nothing in the room to acknowledge her birthday
We had a large cake made for the occasion and at the end of the evening they said they would box the cake up and we could collect it from the function room in the morning, all would be safe.
The next morning we looked for it and it was gone we told the receptionist and she went off to check all the fridges etc,she came back and said she could not find it and took my phone number to call me back, but never did, the cake was to have been given out in the morning for family and remaining guests.
Very poor customer service, on a special occasion

Expensive and lacked managerial support.

The room was not much bigger than my garden shed.
We checked in put our bags in and went out, during that evening my wife fell ill, we went back to the hotel and explained she was unwell and we needed to get back home,i asked as we could not stay could we get a refund or 1 night credit, the receptionist said fine no problem get your wife home and call us when she is better, i called them and everyone seemed to have forgotten and denied all,they said NO, and offered us a free breakfast when we paid to stay again.
Beware as staff decide when to understand and the hotel was run down and the room was to say on the small side

I booked a hire car for Spain, on the carflexi booking it said what is included and there 1st in the list was out of hours with a big green tick next to it, i thought that's handy as we were arriving late so i would save on the 40 Euros charge, at the hirers desk in Spain "Record go" charged me 40 Euros for out of hours, I showed him the paper work from carflexi and he shrugged his shoulders and said to claim it back from carflexi, when back in England i challenged carflexi on this and they just did not want to know email after email they got fed up and pulled the plug on me, was this false advertising? Just do not go near them you think your saving but in the end you don't, and you get appalling customer service.

“Ripoff. Charges purely designed to extract money from paying customers. We were checked in and arrived at the gate to be told that one of our cabin bags was about 1/2 inch too big so would have to be put in the hold at a charge of £50!”
