About Me

I'm a small business owner of two barbershops. Half my staff are my apprentices. My shops are considered schools. I also run a non profit cutting hair for the homeless. I'm a full time Mental Health Worker at a local hospital, as well. I'm raising six kids. Most of them are adopted. Therefor, I'm experienced in customer service. Communication is key. People are not paperwork. A businesses online presence is essential, including online customer service.

How I Can Help

Customer service, community outreach, organizing events, mental health, hair styling

We have been customers of this water delivery service for over ten years. They charge a monthly rental fee for their water dispensers. We have had the same dispenser the whole time. I'm sure we could have bought ten of these by now.
I finally convinced my mom that the service is not worth the cost. She requested to end the service over three months ago.
She is being extorted for ending the service. The company is charging her the monthly rental fee, and the full cost of the machine. They keep making appointments to come pick up their trash, but never show up. Instead, they're accusing my mother of refusing to return the equipment.
They did pick up the empty bottles just a few weeks ago, but they're charging my mother for the full cost of the water bottles as if she is keeping them. They failed to take the useless machine which was right next to the water bottles.
My mother continues to pay the bill out of fear of messing up her credit. It's extortion. They need to fix this and return the money my mom has been paying for no service the last three months.

Tip for consumers:
They didn't give us Pure Life in our dispenser bottles. It was more like tap water.

I've been a member since 2006. I received my first Cosmprof member card from 1100 S Atlantic in Monterey Park, Ca. Kathy issued my card. I came back with my husband to help him get his card. Kathy added him to my card. We have both been using the same card for about 10 years. It hasn't been an issue. We order online and in person.
Last week we went to the Monterey Park location. It's been about a year since my last visit. As soon as we opened the door, "May I help you" echoed three times as the employees jumped out of the back room. I came for three specific things, and I know the store. I said "No" three times. There were no other customers in the store. I'm sure Kathy heard the other girls ask before she walked out and followed us straight to the hair color. She kept making random suggestions, as if she were rushing us out. Another girl stood at the end of the isle watching as well.
I got three tubes of hair color and forgot to get the Icy White and the developer. We went to check out. My husband handed the lady our cosmoprof card. She began to question if it was really his. She asked specifically for my ID. I told her it was in the car. I was about to go get it when she stopped me and said it was ok. She sold us the products and we left.
It wasn't until I was washing my client's hair that I realized I really needed that Icy White. I sent my husband to the Cosmoprof closest to our shop. They greeted him, asked if he needed help, once. Then asked him why our account was flagged. Apparently, the miserable woman at the Monterey Park location flagged our account, asking for my ID.
I've reviewed the store on several sites in hopes of getting a response and maybe even an apology. But it looks like that behavior has become normal in that location, according to their reviews. They don't respond to reviews either.
I felt discriminated. I felt targeted. I felt like we were profiled. My visit was useless since I had to go elsewhere to complete my purchases.
Please educate these women on customer service. It's useless to hoard the products so they don't get stolen and discourage customers from ever walking in again.
The website is difficult to log into. The prices are questionable. I find better deals in store.

Tip for consumers:
Keep your member card handy when trying to log in. Wait for those sales weekends.

I grew up involved in parks and rec summer activities. The programs were all inclusive, back then.
Who's running this thing? Trying to sign your kids up is a fight. People have to be lined up before 6 am and even then, you probably won't get in since you're also fighting with people who are signing up online. There are less than 10 spots available for each swimming class. Basketball hasn't called us back after try outs. It's been weeks.
The swimming classes are only two weeks long and the pool I signed my son up at has been closed for four days.
I'll be online while standing in line, again, in a few days. Unbelievable!

Why have a form to fill out on your website if you're not going to read it?
I was checking to see if my landlord's llc is valid. There's a box for that on the form I filled out on the Direct Incorporated website.
I got a text within seconds asking if I'm interested in starting my own llc. The website told me I'd have to wait 24 hours. I didn't respond. I wanted to wait for my results.
This person texted me again at 5am. I responded, letting her know I'm not interested. She still asked if I'm interested. All at 5am. Isn't that illegal?

What a waste of money! I could have gotten that jail cell off a room for $100 less/ night. The pictures were misleading. The description was misleading. We would have had a better time if we had stayed home. Booking.com robbed us!

We were given a tiny cell with no view, just a walk way of random people looking into our window.
I'm not sure why this always happens to us. I imagine having a fancy drink on a roof top and I get a glass of sink water and a jail cell.

I'm in Los Angeles and there are no merchants participating in the cash back rewards program with this bank. It's an empty incentive.
I don't like how they process payments, either. It takes three days for a payment to post. I just made a payment and realized I had more money available. I wanted to make another payment but I wasn't allowed. I tried to cancel the payment I just made, but I wasn't allowed. I tried to take a screen shot but I wasn't allowed. I even tried to record it with a screen recording app, but I wasn't allowed. I guess they don't want anyone to have proof of anything they do on that app.

This website becomes inaccessible when you have billing problems. It's impossible to resolve issues. This company is unresponsive. They respond to reviews with "Cut and Paste" responses that don't pertain to the problem.
They've made me pay double for two months that I thought my membership was canceled. They forged my name onto a contract. They are making me live out their illegal document even though the manager told me I was banned from the gym.
They don't care that there's another gym nearby with parking, a swimming pool, a sauna, more options, a theater room... And it's the same price.

Tip for consumers:
Customer service is non existent. This place forces you to use your bank account, but won't explain all the silly charges to your account. The app will stop working when you want to cancel, forcing you to pay for extra months you don't need. They don't return calls. They'll ban you if you ask too much, and still charge you for an extra month.
