Hassles happen, but NOT this time~~

Of late, both Amazon and Wayfair have disappointed,
After many prior years, decades, of superb service.

Recently ordered a ceiling-height closet via Wayfair,
Only to experience an Inferno of difficulties;
We all know how that goes, eh?
Arduous is the word, trying to cancel~~
PayPal ultimately resolved; their 'dispute' system
Is well beyond admirable!

Meanwhile, after intense online searches,
Discovered the same item at Bison Office;
At nearly 30% less!
Seriously? YES

Ordering and delivery moved smoothly.
During unpacking, however, discovered rather
Nasty damage to the upper corner of the
Huge lower back panel.
Not via FedEx...
All four boxes arrived in perfect condition!

Contacted Bison to alert them to potential
Failure of the manufacturer's Quality Control.
They responded promptly, offering to replace
The item, which was moot, as the closet was
Already assembled, and replacing would
Involve further installation appointments and
Cost.

Again, Bison responded promptly,
And unexpectedly credited a small discount.
This is a first, in many decades of ordering online!

It's no surprise that Bison has such appreciative
Feedback...

WigSis is an alarming seller~~
As reported by many reviews here, there is disparity between wig ordered and what is actually delivered.
They allege full refund if not satisfied, which is beyond impossible to achieve, due to their base address in China.
After no cooperation from WigSis regarding receipt of a totally wrong item, I submitted to PayPal Resolution center, which ruled in favor of full refund, once the wig was returned.
WigSis insists on return to their China address, even though the return address on the parcel I received was actually in California USA!
Though PayPal Resolution authorized full refund, they insisted that the wig must be returned to the China address of the seller, as that is the official one on their business account with PayPal; evidence on the parcel received from California did not count.
Proving receipt of return, to China, becomes challenging, and the seller
Will only refund once the return is authenticated.
At time of purchase, I was not aware that WigSis is a China-based company, or that it would take months to receive the order, let alone endure the protracted effort and fight to obtain some sort of return.
After literally months (!) of delay, and my compromise, a partial refund was received.
In all, a most unsatisfactory transaction.
There are so many reasons to buy elsewhere~~
The months waiting for delivery,
The disappointment with a totally wrong product,
The lack of integrity and total resistance to refund,
And the tediously frustrating Resolution process,
(though glad it's available with PayPal),
And the poor refund result.
Please trust these reviews.

Ordered new OEM fitment floor mats for a classic Volvo. No confirmation of order, no follow up, no tracking number ~~ NOTHING to indicate the order was received and/or ever shipped. Finally emailed via the contact info provided by PayPal (thank lawsy for THAT

Dead silence.
Nada ~~
Was just about to file a PayPal resolution request when the package finally wandered in,
On its own... thankfully, nice floor mats, which fit.
Must confess will never use this venue again, as the lack of communication and/or follow-up is hideous.

Ordered two faux wood blinds for the two small garage windows. Arrived nicely packed, complete with requisite hardware and instructions. Installed easily, though
Then looked all disheveled, slats uneven, with gaps.
Studied the situation further, to discover that each slat groove at the bottom of
Every blade must be carefully aligned with the guild string. Unlike the expensive
Hunter Douglas blinds custom done inside the house, these from Blinds.com do not
Have the second string which holds slats in place.
Once each was sorted, the binds operate well and look even.
For what these are... an inexpensive solution... they are good value.

Ordered a table from HOUZZ, which got lost in delivery.
Followed up with the shipper, and they could not find it,
So I asked HOUZZ for a refund.
To be fair,
HOUZZ did refund fairly quickly.

Days later,
A neighbor several buildings away discovered the THREE quite
Heavy parcels at his condo, and hand carried them in the summer heat
All the way to my condo.

I contacted HOUZZ to send me an invoice, so that I could
Remit via check immediately.

ODDLY... I have been informed that the ONLY was I can pay
For this table is to re-order,
And then they will allegedly instruct the seller not to ship.
We have been going back and forth on this,
As it seems absurd to me that I cannot receive an authentic bill,
Referencing original order number and amount,
Correct seller name and contact, in order send a check in payment,
And have the cancelled check as proof of payment.

If HOUZZ is simply an agent for the seller, they can sort their commission with that seller?
Something is VERY strange about having to re-order
And count on them to cancel?
Worst case scenario, another table arrives, which I have paid for once again, with the nightmare of trying to return it.

I have copied my attorney with the full e-trail, as record of every attempt to pay for the table.
Hoping that this information will help others, also.

Bought headlight set for 1997 Suzuki Sidekick JLX from AM Autoparts on eBay. Arrived quickly, and were 'almost' OK. However, after my mechanic had to switch out the mounting plate (because shape of new mount plate was wrong, and one hole missing), I wrote to AM Autoparts to advise them of this discrepancy.
Suggested, also, that they note this on eBay to alert prospective buyers. Later, my mechanic also had to return the old bulbs and electrics to the new set, as new ones not compatible. Again, notified AM Autoparts to mention on eBay. During this same time, they continued to say each set was 'the last one available' and yet kept offering more after each purchase. Game players? Whatever. Just be aware that what you think you're buying might not be a true fit. We exchanged communiques about all this, and they assured me that it would be corrected. Not!
As of this morning, Jan 23,2016, they are again offering these headlights, but no warning text about fit problems.

"Sad in Seattle" with this totally unreliable online florist! Their glitzy Web site promises a good product with reliable delivery, which did NOT happen. They then claimed their florist performed properly, so I got an affidavit from the Nurses at Swedish Hospital stating the actuality that they did NOT! Then FromYouFlowers promised a replacement bouquet, which once again was NOT delivered... SAVE your money, aggravation and disappointment and shop elsewhere! FromYouFlowers will NOT supply your needs or care when they haven't. I would have liked to see this review BEFORE ever shopping with them via credit card, which by the way, they charged IMMEDIATELY, and will not refund.
