When I arrived to pick up the car in Tallinn, the rental company had not received the booking although I had all the booking codes and all. They booked me the car straight from the desk at the same price and said that when the booking comes through they will cancel it for me and Carflexi will refund the booking fees. The rental company was nice and professional and all was good with the car. They informed me about the cancellation when the booking came through and assured refund would be processed.
After countless emails between the rental company and Carflexi for 2 months, no confirmation that I will ever receive back my booking fees, regardless of the fact that the rental company has asked them to process it and that it was never my fault. All emails I receive from Carflexi are to find a reason why it's my fault and how to avoid paying back 164 euros. Loss of earnings now also for the car rental as I am a regular long-term renter and have now again rented a car through a different provider for 5 weeks.
