I purchased a kitten from Lana of NY Maine Coon Lovers and we've had a lot of concerning issues with her. Thankfully no health problems with our cat... fingers crossed, but we insisted on pedigree option (all her cats come with pedigree *option) and together we modified her contract to indicate she would provide pedigree papers when we got the cat fixed. But then she refused to provide the pedigree papers for a variety of silly and irrelevant reasons - until after I filed a complaint with the BBB, left reviews, contacted TICA about filing a complaint etc. And even now she won't update his name (as we requested before she registered him) and she hasn't sent in transfer papers. Without pedigree the breed cannot be validated, and equally important, the health guarantee is gone. She could be inbreeding (mom and son or whatever) or breeding cats with known health defects (hence why she wouldn't want to provide proof of lineage to register that cat). At this point after realizing how many cats she has with different birthdays and how resistant she was to providing pedigree papers I'm not even sure I trust her to be honest with the registration. I suggest others having this experience do the same - file a complaint with the BBB, TICA, heck even try contacting your attorney general. You've probably been ripped off with a non-pure bred (which you paid for) or sold a cat that could have health issues that would have been prevented by a professional, ethical breeder.

They only get 1 star because I can't give them 0. I guess I shouldn't be surprised so many other people here have had the same very disappointing, misleading and unethical experience I've had. It was NOT clear this company only issues store credit for returns until after I placed an order and had a product problem. I'm a first time customer turned never again customer. FOR ALL THOSE WITH SIMILAR EXPERIENCES, CONTACT YOUR ATTORNEY GENERAL AND FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WND FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION.

I placed a first time order with Fashion Nova online. The product was such poor quality - threads hanging everywhere including unfinished serged edges, and puckering on the rear because fabric was not lined up appropriately before being stitched, I tried to return all of it. One item couldn't be returned because it was "final sale" though this was not conveyed when purchased and still doesn't show on my order. I paid $8 to return, then received an e-gift card. I contacted customer service as I did not want an gift card - I wanted a refund to my form of payment. Customer service said they don't do refunds. What?!?!?! I would never have ordered from them if that had been communicated - and its so bizarre it should be communicated clearly up front. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Who knows if I'll get my money back - I would not recommend anyone buy from this unethical company.

Tip for consumers:
They don't give refunds for returns - they give gift cards. If you can't buy in store (in CA only) and know you are okay with the product quality, style and sizing don't recommend purchasing from them.

I ordered custom shoes - both design and fit, from Girotti and the didn't fit. As per their terms and conditions they say their policy is they will remake custom shoes once. But they refused to remake, exchange, or allow for a return. I purchased from them for the first time based on their policy. Terribly disappointing. Communication was also poor. I recommend anyone that experiences the same to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

Tip for consumers:
They don't honor their own policies - so what you see on their website regarding returns, exchanges etc is not to be believed.
