Once account is closed with blue host, they set it to auto renewal and every year you get surprise deductions of $25 as domain fee or privacy fee. When I'm called them, they all have to say only one thing NO REFUND.
When I said it's illegal and unfair to deduct AFTER A/C is CLOSED, they said they sent 2 'reminder emails' that the amount will be deducted. Since I didn't call on time and I called them AFTER money was deducted, I don't have authority to ask for refunds.
Well, my first and only thing is, AFTER account is CLOSED, why are they deducting money? Why am I supposed to pay anything when account doesn't exist.! It always comes back to same discussion that I didn't respond immediately after receiving reminder emails.
This is 2nd year my money got deducted. Last year when it happened, I had asked them to cancel auto renewals and they had agreed to it. Still I see deductions. So irrespective of any statements, they deny refunds which is clearly unacceptable and unfair. I am going to report this issue. They just looted $50 for NO reason.
