I have stored items in a garage size unit since February and stop in about once a month to just check on things. In October I stopped to check and found that the lock had been changed on my unit. I was so confused because I am on top of paying them and couldn't foresee any other reason this would happen. I called and was told painting was going on and maybe the painters needed to cut the lock. What? They had no idea why there would be a different lock on the unit.
So, I took it upon myself to cut the unknown lock. I found my items have been rifled through and my unit was a mess. At that moment, I loaded up all my stuff and left, as I did NOT feel good about leaving my belongings there.

A similar situation happened at another unit across town, except they had thousands of dollars of stuff come up missing. I haven't completely inventoried my stuff yet, but I did find my original lock that someone had broken off and left inside one of my boxes.

There is no security at this location. No cameras up in between units. No need for even a passcode to get in cause most of the time the gate is just left wide open.

Take your business elsewhere. $160 a month to have my items unsecured.
