Great prices and I love the concept of being able to sell non-cancellable reservations. Easy to use website.
Covid-19 reservations are all non refundable! They said they will work hard to get my refund kiss my $#*!!

I booked a hotel on Sanibel Island, FL about 5 weeks in advance of my stay, paying full price for 4 nights and received a reservation number from Cancelon. Four days before my stay I contacted the hotel directly and they had no record of my reservation. When I contacted Cancelon, the staff reported that there was a problem with the reservation staff and to allow 24- 48 hours to resolve. After 48 hours (2 days before my flight) I was notified by Cancelon that the hotel had "overbooked" me. (In fact it was Cancelon that had overbooked, not the hotel.) I was given two alternatives: accept an alternative hotel that was not on Sanibel Island or any other beach, or get a refund.
It offered me a price for a room, I accepted, filled out all the info just so the site can tell me the room was unavailable! Then why was it listed in the first place? Chat told me, maybe I waited too long and to try again, well I did and guess what. That room was again unavailable. False advertisement and a waste of time, will definitely go elsewhere! Booking should not be this complicated and deceiving!
Awful company. Doesn't understand the meaning of committing to something. Promised me things for weeks and *never* delivered on those promises. Don't believe anything they tell you. They will not call you back. They will not remember anything they previously told you. You have to forcefully remind them of their own cancellation policy. They do not care at all about your vacation.
I was emailed recently to write a review about my stay at the King Inn, San Diego, CA by TripAdvisor. They rejected my review because they said it was not about Kings Inn, but Cancelon. Here is the review.
Kings Inn San Diego
San Diego
No Refund - COVID-19
*******
I cancelled my trip to California on March 14th due to the US Government travel restrictions put in place with the COVID-19 travel restrictions. I cancelled my reservation via email with Cancelon two days before we were to stay at Kings Inn, San Diego on March 16th. I also called the hotel, they were very accommodating and cancelled my reservation with them. They were unable to refund my money because I had booked with a third party, Cancelon. I have not yet recieved a refund from Cancelon.
I'll submit a review once I get to the hotel and find out everything is good.
I've seen a lot of bad reviews so I still have my doubts.
If I can give zero stars I would. They lie, cheat and steal. Booked a room. I asked to check out early due to extenuating circumstances (hurricane). The hotel said no problem just check with third party- cancelon. Antonio at cancelon said no problem as long as you provide proof of check-out and the hotel agrees. We provided proof and received the run around for weeks AND NO REFUND. The hotel confirmed to us multiple times that they did not charge for the remaining nights so this cheap crap website is stealing and keeping our money beware! Worst customer service and they lie.
I purchased a hotel reservation through Cancelon in October 2019. My reservations were for a four night stay in New York in June 2020. I contacted the hotel in April to check on the status of their hotel during this pandemic. I was told Cancelon cancelled my hotel on March 23rd. I had no knowledge of this cancellation. Needless to say, three days later on March 26th, Cancelon filed for bankruptcy. I have not heard from them nor am I able to get in touch with them. I am out $1,537. I booked through Trivago but then my financial transaction was completed through Cancelon. Trivago told me I should have taken out travel insurance. What a joke! Both of these companies should be ashamed of themselves.
So Good, if i need more information, how can I do?
Cancellation fee even though you cancel Wayne advance. Expedia does not do that so book through them
This was an easy to navigate website that gave me a great deal, though the emails are confusing I think I will figure it out.
Booked rooms weeks in advance, fully paid and even checked in with the hotel. Literally cancelled on us the day we arrived leaving us stranded and the hotel could not do anything about it. Should've known from the name of the company and reviews that this was a scam.
When we called for customer support we got sent in an endless loop of waiting times and redirects. This stalling just made things worse as it kept our hopes up for no reason.
Made a reservation through Cancelon for 9 days ath Novotel London Excel hotel. I'm flying in from the USA in 6 days and noticed that Cancelon canceled my reservation due to a system glitch. Now rates are inflated everywhere because it's less than a week and I need to make new reservations. BEWARE!
Found a better deal for the same hotel and dates - when I called Cancelon, the agent said they would honor a PRICE MATCH if I sent the screen shots of the other website difference of over $300 but I keep getting a run around from them saying that the cancellation policy is different - which has nothing to do with the PRICE! Please help - they sent me an email saying they would refund me $50. Terrible company to deal with - they do not follow thru on their "Price Match" at all.
When another website claimed the hotel we wanted book was not available; Cancelon still had availability with reasonable price.
Trustworthy travel site with quick response.
Great response time and followup with comfirmation
DON'T RISK THIS. Made a reservation, checked on it multiple times over several days since I didn't receive a hotel-generated confirmation number. Was assured it was confirmed on Cancelon's end and told I needed wait for the systems to update. This morning (check in day), hotel still has no record of my reservation. So I call back. Again. And guess what? Hotel is sold out, no rooms available. So now, I have a 20-yr-old daughter stranded in New York City with no lodging, traveling alone. Don't put yourself through this. Use a real booking service.
This website worked just fine, no issues. Emails came through alright and everything.
I am a regular traveler (at least 10 hotel bookings each year for the past 20 years), and I came across Cancelon this morning as I was checking rates for a booking over the next 3 months. The rate was better than other options I had and the cancellation policy allowed me cancel it one week before my stay. I jumped on it, but after entering the credit card number and pressing the confirmation, I was notified that there was a $25 processing fee for any cancellation! This was a shock. I did not see this fee before confirming my booking and I don't remember anything like this in my past hotel bookings. I checked the pages leading to the booking and the fee was not mentioned anywhere on those pages. I immediately called the company and they confirmed that the fee is there and I will be charged if I cancel my reservation even right when it is made! Stop misleading your customers and put that damn $25 fee on the booking page!
Advertising Rooms that are not available and allowing payment for them. Booked a room through Cancelon and paid over $4000. Get an email the next day saying the room is no longer available and I will get a refund within 10 days. They offer a 10% discount on my next booking. So I look for another room... again pay over $4000. And within 24 hours, am told that it is no longer available. Disappointing to say the least! At least all the other 3rd party seller sites I checked for this same booking tell you BEFORE you pay that the room is no longer available.
Cancelon booked my hotel... took my money... when I arrived to check-in... guess what... no reservation existed. Guess who won't refund the money... Cancelon!
They are a total scam.!
I sent them my original receipt and the receipt of the hotel I had to book into because the reservation did not exist. NO PAYMENT has been sent! I can only imagine that they are stealing money from many consumers. Worst experience ever!
Booked a hotel for a event in New Orleans. Due to a building clasping in the area around the hotel. The roads were CLOSED. I could not get to the hotel. I asked for a full refund on October 12 2019. Cancelon called the hotel to verify the truth. After hotel confirmed this Cancelon said it would be turned over for a refund. After four phone calls and four emails LATER I still have not received my money. It has now been over a month. Cancelon has refused to give me any information on the SO call 3rd party that they work with so I can contact them myself. Horrible company!
They have stole $207.00 dollars from me.
WISH I COULD LEAVE 0 STARS.
THE SALES PRACTICES OF THIS COMPANY ARE HORRENDOUS AND MANIPULATIVE.
I BOOKED A ROOM LAST WEEK- THE ROOM WRITE UP
