The work ethic was high-end! We appreciate John & Mike assistance in relocating to two separate sites and your professionalism and helpfulness. Our kitchen was a challenge for them to pack because there were lots of little utensils, unique kinda tea sets and also my favorite baking oven. Well, Nice to have a fresh start in my new home.

My experience was close to as bad as it gets. They brought the wrong things, didn't a huge piece of furniture that breaks down in 2 parts to be a fraction of the size so things apart so it would take more space. As a result boxes didn't arrive and when I had my storage unit emptied I lost very valuable things. Total $#*!s. Didn't take pictures or video and left before speaking with me. Due to rescheduling my friend could not be there to assist for me. Zero stars if I could.

Superb service with a smile, punctual and flexible in the face of unexpected changes. Chris, the main coordinator, was similarly competent and helpful. The boys were exceedingly attentive with packing, and all of the breakables arrived unscathed. Also, I was impressed by how neatly they loaded everything onto the two trucks. It was a positive encounter overall.

Even with all the boxes I had, these movers packed everything expertly! They were able to load everything onto the truck. Will definitely recommend them!

Nothing about this company and the move they provided was positive. Hours late to pick up, Increased price at time of pickup, weeks late to deliver and increased cost again, lost multiple boxes and furniture pieces, damaged/scratched multiple furniture pieces, refused to provide and annotate lost and damaged goods at time of delivery which made it impossible to file a claim and get any reimbursement for lost/damaged items. Worst experience ever!

These guys were top-notch. They ensured that all my belongings, from the dollies to bed blankets, were handled with care. Kudos to Carefreemove for their great work.

Excellent value for the money and extremely helpful service! I was amazed by how fast Jason and Nathaniel loaded the van, even with my bed and wardrobe disassembled. Well Done!

Stear far away from this company. My custom linen couch is completely ruined. It was packed perfectly in plastic though arrived half way out. My couch was clearly left outside as it was delivered with dirt and debris. In addition, it is evident that my counch was drug on cement as the back of it now has a hole and is completely destoryed with black dirt. This company also stated that they would use moving blankets. My buffet table arribed with 2 large gashes in it. And to make matters worse they had 1 poor man doing my entire delivery. This means carrying a stone table alone. No wonder my things were completely destroyed. Oh and Should I mention all of the hidden fees. What a complete $#*! company! Do yourself a favor and do not choose care free movers. HORRIBLE!

I was shocked at how carefully these movers packed my antique china set – not a single chip or break in sight! These guys were real beasts when it came to transporting my heavy gym equipment – they didn't skip a beat and had it loaded up in no time.

Quoted a price to move house to ID, when load charged 1000 over quote. When they arrived 18 day later they wouldn't move anything further than the garage, unless of coarse we paid more... we didn't so they decided cuss us out yelling in our front yard until we started to call the local police. Communication with dispatchers, also horrible no answers no calls back. Also the office listed on the web page does not match the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration they may be operating illegally. Stay away from the company #carefreemoversSTINKS.

The moving crew did a great job. The packing service they provide is impeccable, Their customer service is out-class. I will recommend them to my friends and family.

The packing and preparation of all of my stuff for relocation was done quickly and efficiently by these movers, who were also very kind. I will used them again in future moving needs!

This is a continuation of my previous review. I am already extremely worried about our stuff, and now we are being told different information EVERY TIME WE CALL.
ALSO, please beware of the reviews giving 5 stars saying this is the greatest company. It looks like the people from the company are writing reviews themselves. Look at the profile pictures.

On April 11th, 2023, I was told by Gina with dispatch that they had 21 days to get our stuff to us. That would bring us to May 2nd.

Then, on April 19th, I was told by Gina that our stuff had been loaded, the truck was on it's way and we should hear from them in the next 24 to 48 hours. I did not hear from them, so I called them on Friday, April 21st in the midday. Barron confirmed they were in transit and I should hear from them at the beginning of the following week.

The beginning of the following week comes and goes, so I call again. I speak with Gina again and she said it looks like they are loading the truck and had been assigned a driver. I said that last week she told me that they were already in transit. There was no direct answer from her regarding that.

So, I called again today to let them know that if we don't see our stuff in the next 6 days, they would hear from our lawyers (I said the next 6 days because we are coming up on the 21 day mark). The lady on the phone said, "No, we have until May 23rd to get it to you. We have 21 business days to get it to you."

Now we've gone from 3-7 days, to 30 days, to 30 business days.

You CANNOT trust anything this company says. They are a nightmare. They also said that they would give my mother my things at the house listed, and that they would issue her the check. I wrote them an email giving them my authorization to drop off the stuff at the house with my mom or dad. I am writing that here to cover my tracks.

I plan to keep writing reviews until I see ALL of my things in one piece. Also, I do not trust this company even further because they seem to go by several names: Carefree Movers Inc., Carefree Moving.

The efficiency of Mike and Leo stunned me. I will without a doubt let my friends know about them. My bed was quickly dismantled and reassembled, which made moving much simpler. Will used them again in future!

I was bullet-sweating at first when Alexander and Leo came over, I had some valuable possessions which I was worried about, but these Men's blew my mind. I'd hire Carefreemove without thinking twice for all my future moves. Pleased on another level.

They were prompt and efficient and took excellent care of my valuables. They had everything they needed to ensure my bed, flat screen TV, and mother's china set arrived in one piece at my new place. These guys were great!

Mason and John are very skilled! They took additional care with our possessions, like the refrigerator, and my sister's favorite cupboard and nothing was broken; I wanna say thanks to Carefreemove.

Then hire Carefree Movers. You may or may not get your belongings, and what you get will be damaged. Here are some of the highlights from my experience, and I didn't even hire this company directly but got stuck with them as a subcontractor who further subcontracted my move to multiple rinkydink sub-subcontractors who used rental trucks to transfer my belongings at least 3 times in a weird gerrymandered trip across country that took over a month:

Misrepresentation of delivery date and original contracting company (Cross Nation Relocation, DOT #: ******* MC #: *******) as the responsible moving company who contacted me with a high pressure phone call with offered discounts to sign up immediately - attempted pickup of goods at midnight by Carefree Movers and pickup pushed to following day - mishandling of goods during pickup - promised overage space not provided - refusal of company to provide tracking and delivery times during shipment - company claims of being too busy to track shipments as well as claims they didn't track shipments nor have drivers' contact information - goods being transferred at least 3 times in a gerrymandered cross-country route - partial delivery with 10 boxes missing out of 66 with loss of irreplaceable contents, including for my work - delivered boxes broken with contents spilling out and delivered upside down and on sides - broken contents - refusal of company dispatch (whom reps said were the only ones with information) to communicate, answer emails or attempt to locate lost belongings.

The nightmare continues as I discover missing items that were in those boxes... I personally will never contract for a move again. Obviously, the risk of scam or general incompetence is too much.

Lads were on time and started work quickly. They packed the bed, vanity and chairs in moving blankets in less than three hours. They are incredibly capable and efficient. I recommend them.

They had us sign a contract that stated we had the higher damage coverage, but when we filed a claim after 80% of all furniture was delivered damaged, we were told we only had the $.20/pound coverage. Carefree ignored our request for a refund or damage reimbursement.

When the movers arrived with our items they stated they could move everything up to 70 feet without incurring an additional fee. I'm not sure where they got frustrated, but we couldn't even get them to do that. As you can see below, they left everything at the edge of the road (they wouldn't even move it to the storage box pictured), which I suppose is an improvement because they threatened to leave everything in the middle of the road until we called the police.

Almost every piece of furniture was damaged - couch upholstery, wood surfaces were scratched and tape was applied directly to some of our wood furniture.

If you're just looking to get from point A to point B, I'm sure they're good. But if you like anything that you own, I probably would choose a different company.

Mike and Grayson made significant efforts to complete the assignment promptly and professionally. The delivery was done efficiently and on schedule. Great work!

This company tried to make me pay double the agreed upon contact. They said the contract that I signed with the broker isn't valid even though I paid a deposit. They literally took 7 hours of arguing just to load up a 1 bedroom apartment. In that time they damaged multiple things in my apartment. About 30 minutes into them finally starting after being at my apartment for 4 hours they stopped and said we have to charge a long walk fee saying it is over 100 feet from the door to the truck. They did not measure and we're trying to get over on me. Just for that fee they tried to charge me $525 extra dollars on top of the $1200 they were trying to overcharge me for in the first place. After damaging everything, scratching up my walls, and not even picking up all of the items the two guys left abruptly. I know they damaged my things, and to make things worse they left abruptly without even checking in to see if the job is done. They left their packing tape, the doors open and dropped some of my personal items in the hall way. I never gave them an address to go to but just an area code and what they are going to do is call me and hold my things ransom until they make me pay an amount that isn't even on the contract that I signed. DO NOT use this company. They are thieves. I informed the police and have an open case

I was initially told the moving process would take 5-10 days. I have heard nothing in 9 days. I cannot even find out where my belongings are. Please avoid this terrible company if you can.

The moving unit was prompt, expert, and meticulous. In addition to being helpful and polite, they also focused on finding solutions to our problems. They labored nonstop and had to be ordered to stop working. We are quite satisfied with Leo, and we suggest that you request for him specifically.
