I bought 2 separate Christmas gifts PKG., each was delivered on time, and both were delicious and fresh!
The charge for express deliver but it might as well be standard because the have a bunch of other rules so basically I paid 36.89 for express and it's getting there same time as stand it said 22-26 just shipped today from Illinois to California
The sausage was bland and waxy. The cheese was glorified processed American cheese but dry and gritty. I remember always looking forward to getting a gift box for Christmas 20 years ago. This year I ended up throwing it all away since nobody would eat it.

Bad service they sent both my orders to wrong address and will not correct there mistake terrible service
I placed 2 orders today but after giving my debit card info, the sales rep said my card was declined saying that Hickory Farms does not take debit cards. I then called their Customer Service and was told that yes they DO take debit cards. Furthermore, at the same time, I discovered my bank account was hit with a fraud alert which, fortunately, I was able to clear immediately but with instructions to the banking fraud division that they NOT release my funds to Hickory Farms as I have no intention of dealing with them going forward. I had plenty of money in my checking account to far more than cover my purchase, I believe the sales rep entered all of the correct #s. Did Hickory Farms suspend debit card payments temporarily? If so, why?

To start I got the wrong items shipped to me which I can understand but the customer service did nothing to help me. It has been 2 weeks and still no contact from Hickory Farms at all.

There is no email address or on line support. Calling was a waste of my time. The first representative I talked to could not answer any of my question and then left me on hold for 20 min so I hung up. After calling back and getting to another person I thought my issue was resolved. She told me I would receive an email today which I did. It was the total opposite of what she told me. Its an awful company if something goes wrong with your order. Will never use them again.
This is the only place of business that won't give you the difference back If product is on sale next Day. Yet I can just call to get a refund if I'm not satisfied. Makes no sense
Wow really who took over this company and RUINED the summer sausage?!?! All my life I've eaten this amazing summer sausage it WAS the best you could buy. Well they have gone and ruined that as well. Just like every company in the last two yrs NOTHING is the same anymore NOTHING and I'm sick to death of it. Oh and don't bother contacting them they could care less. They just lie and say nothing has changed...

On December 30th I purchased 4 items for around $80, a great deal with their sale going on. Same day I got a message saying it's shipped out, supposed to be here in a few days. Shipping date kept getting pushed back. Weeks later I emailed support and they said nothing they can do. Another few weeks and they tell me that they oversold and will refund me. Why allow me to purchase items, say they've been shipped, then tell me they're sold out?

I have not had a hickory farms product in 20 years or so. I remember looking forward to getting some summer sausages in the mall and how good they were. What happened? I received a gift box this year and ended up throwing away the sausages and cheeses. They were just plain tasteless and not good at all.
Is it the bean counters at work? No wonder they are rated #54 in sales.

After a 2 year break, I purchased a HF meat & cheese package from Amazon. The cost was $49.97 and I expected $49.97 worth of product. Turned out the Amazon supplier marked up a $20 retail package by ~250%. And, it was a No Return item. Contacted Amazon via Chat and was offered a refund *immediately* and was told to keep the sampler. Yay! I tried some greasy summer sausage (meh), Jack cheese (weird grainy texture), and really stale crackers. I hope the mustard and 4 hard candies are OK! BTW; The box was crushed on all corners and the plastic tray was dented and cracked. What a disappointment. I'll never buy HF products again.
They put small amounts of cheap tasting cheeses and sausages in fancy boxes and charge outrages prices, the only thing good about Hickory Farm products is the box that can be used for shipping some items..
Called customer service & was disconnected several times. Purchased 3pk 10 ounce Beef Summer Sausage 31.99 shipping 13.99=45.98. Same protect at target Hickory farms verified on line TARGET is a 3rd party 6.99 each.
I was told they are a warehouse. There is nothing they can do,or send me To offset the difference in price. I can't return it because of Covid they said, I didn't even open it. Hickory Farms you lost a valuable customer!

I've always loved there regular sausage.
After being a customer for over 50 years I will no longer be patronizing Hickory Farms. They advertised and their customer service agents gave false information about the location of a holiday market in Pembroke Lakes Mall. After driving an hour and spending an hour searching the mall I was very disappointed. I contacted their customer service agents the next day and was told I would get a call back. I never did. I received a very weak "We are sorry" but tough luck to you email. No offer of a discount nor free shipping to me. Good bye Hickory Farms!
Ordered 2 Christmas gifts from hickory farms. Found out that only one was delivered. Call to find out the other one was out of stock so will order replacement and was told they will no longer give us the holiday promo of half off second gift. 1. Was out of stock ok that happens. 2 didn't notify us so we can reorder in time 3. Would not compensate for there mistake. 3 strikes and your out. Bait and switch.

We were lead on by doing bulk (300+) order that came with no cost shipping. Just was told by my AP "they dint offer it, and should have".

Love the Hickory Farms product and brand. Decided to order a couple of gifts online this year and didn't get what I expected as I went through the checkout process.
I reached out twice via phone and also sent an email. None of the 3 touch points resolved the issue. While the voice interaction was decent, the email response from the customer service rep was inappropriate and left a lot to be desire. Addressed me by a woman's name and came across as sarcastic instead of apologizing.
Customer service is a BIG opportunity for Hickory to invest in. This team is the face of the company and your brand. It deserves the best talent.
Big fan of the product. Now just need the service to rise up to the same level.

I was working at hickory farms this year, I have worked 2 prior seasons. This years experience was a whole different experience than previous years. The manager Kristin in the beginning was nice but as the days went by she started to knit pick everything I did. If I stocked the shelves she would go behind me and straighten the items I stocked. She was aware that I was not able to download the when I work app. I was scheduled for Monday December 20th I saw the email after the shift was missed. I texted Kristin and apologized for not showing up for work. I was sitting with my beloved dog as she was dying. I explained to her the reason I was not at work. Kristin never attempted to answer my message and at the same time removed me from the schedule for the rest of the season. I have never been fired from any job I worked or have ever had to be disaplined. She was the manager but acted as if hickory farms belonged to her personally. When the second location was opened in October she told customer to go to the new location for sweet and sour sauce but she had every bit of it bagged up and waiting for people to come pick it up. We had very irate customers come in like she told them to only to be told that it was already sold out. What kind of customer service is that? You may have lost regular customer because of the way she deceived them. I know that I will never work again for your company. Maybe she needs to be trained as to what she can and cannot do

I use Hickory Farms every year to send packages to family in other states. I like to call my order in & have been met with friendly, helpful customer service every time. This year I had the privilege of choosing packages that came with perks! Free shipping & handling! But the best perk was the choices came with a charitable contribution from Hickory Farms for each purchase! WOW! What an incredible idea for Christmas Giving! All my packages arrived without incident & delighted my family recipients who always love receiving them. Thank you Hickory Farms! And Merry Christmas to all your fabulous & friendly Customer Service Representatives that I've had an experience with.

I prefer calling. It's a gift & I prefer the human contact, even if it's over the phone. Plus, it means employing people.

I placed an order by phone since I could not do it online unless I made a donation. I recieved a confirmation number and my credit card was charged the same day. I did not recieve an email as they stated I would and when I went to check the order it said invalid number. I tried to contact customer service and was on hold for 50 minutes! Totally unacceptable! I have since disputed the charge with my credit card company. I'm done with Hickory Farms!

Store is 15 minutes from where delivery was to go. It took 15 days to get there. Will not do business with them ever again.

When I think Hickory Farm I think quality. But it's actually overpriced low quality. Very unsatisfied with my order.
IN OHIO 50 YEARS AGO Hickory Farms was an organized high-caliber company. (We have been patrons for over 50 years.) During the last several years, Hickory Farms has become a mess especially on the internet. We have found that:
It FAILS to honor advertised promotions, including free shipping.
It FAILS to honor texted promotions of percentages off.
It FAILS to have a customer service available, but "pretends" that one is available on website.
It FAILS to have a workable website that loads requests promptly.
It FAILS to inform that a product is unavailable until AFTER IT HAS RUN YOUR CREDIT CARD AND TAKEN PAYMENT!
A company like this will cease to generate any revenue from customers who have neither the time nor the patience for these backwards business tactics.
Additionally, the company items are overpriced, skimpy, and not presenting the value it demonstrated in the past.
