After confirming my reservation on holiday autos I was able to look up the voucher directly through thrifty. I'm assuming this also works for other vendors as well. Chose to pay at the counter and everything went smoothly. Thanks for the deal.
What terrible scammers! There was no one at the airport and money was lost. Never rent here! Was waiting for an employee at Salzburg airport. No one came. No one could be reached by phone number. Afterwards they informed me by email that I was too late. There were several other carcompanies waiting. Landed 6 minutes later. Pure fraud!

If you are an 90 mins late they will shaft you.
My advice would be to steer well clear of Holiday Autos and Europcar.
They charged me my full 10 day rental plus insurance and cancelled my entire booking
Just for being 90 mins late. They might seem cheap, this is the reason.
I was 2 hours late because there was a delay with our luggage. We did not get our car since they cancelled and we didn't receive any refund!
They charged my credit card upon booking (in my case two month in advance) they do not pay to the car supplier, found some excuse not to provide the car. I called them for assistance. Their customer support kept me on hold for 30 minutes. I had to rent a car with an other supplier on the airport, They refuse to refund. It looks as a very lucrative business, they are taking money from customers, tricking them and providing nothing in return.
I rented a car from Holiday Autos but when I arrived at the rental desk a car was not available. I have been trying for almost a month to get a refund, but Holiday keeps denying my refund and closing my case because I can't provide a receipt or documentation from the rental car agency that did not give me a car. My question that has yet to be answered is, why would a rental car company give me a receipt when they did not rent me a car?

Awful experience at the island of Tinos...we tried to cancel the booking and because of late respond of the company we lost our money...no refund at all without using any service of the company.Not recommended
I got car booked with them, everything was paid upfront(my mistake!), and after my flight was rescheduled they didn't want to modify my booking, had to order another car, after contacting them, they are ignoring me all the time for 2 weeks now, lost €400 and had to order another car, please be careful as I am never gonna do it again with Holiday Autos and I am warning everyone from doing so!

Dreadful service, claimed the price paid online was the full amount (including full insurance and taxes etc) yet on arrival Goldcar charged an extra £150 to release the car. Despite me notifying Holiday Autos immediately who said they would assist once I returned the vehicle at the end of the holiday, now they completely wash their hands of it. Sadly I didnt read up on them prior to the booking and can now see many others have experienced the same fraudulent activities

I would rate them with negative stars if I could. When I arrived in Mexico they tried to charge me an additional 5x what they initially said the price would be. We were stranded and had to piece it together with Uber since they are deceptive referring to BS fine print and not taking reasonable forms of payment. HORRIBLE experience and subsequent "support" from the company.

They take money using Discover. Then hide in fine print that you can't use Discover when you get there. There was another family stranded AT THE SAME TIME as us for the exact same reason. I'm certain it happens all the time and they keep going...

Booked a car in Puglia, Italy. I had to put a deposit of €500 on a car I already paid for Full Travel Insurance and this was on 4th September, 2023. I am still waiting for my deposit to be returned on 8th November - refusing to return my deposit saying they never deducted it from account where blatantly this has been deducted from my account. SCAMMERS
Any star is ridiculous for this company as its not deserved

Reserved a car for a few days for pick up from Hertz in northern Ireland. Didn't end up needing the car as long as planned so returned it to another Hertz location, where we were assured of a refund for the unused days. After a month and two follow up inquiries they declined to give a refund, pointing to a clause in the terms and conditions, stating no refunds for early return. This was not clearly stated on the confirmation notice, but buried within the fine print. This is a terrible company – don't use them!

My flight was delayed and i missed my picking time. Holiday autos told me to cal the rental company to get my resereved car. When I talk to the rental company at the next day they told me that rhey canceled the resevation and the payment is at the Holiday autos. After talking again with the agency they refused to make the refund and they refused to arrange other car for the payment.

Joe Wege impressed us from the start. We originally inquired about getting a special model of a Ford Escape and were told that one was not available. Within days Joe called us back to say that they had just received this same model in at the dealership.
We asked for a price quote which Joe worked up very quickly and sent to us via email. We thought this over for a few days and then called Joe back to ask to see the vehicle. We were lucky it wasn't gone by then to be honest, but we were in luck. We came in that same day.
Joe had moved the vehicle to the showroom for us so we could look at it in warmer temps (it was the middle of January after all!). He gave us a tour of the vehicle and really impressed us with his level of knowledge. This was a 2022 and he was already comfortable telling us all about it and showing us the features.
We ended up buying that vehicle that day. The entire staff was quick to help and comfortable with the entire process. We were also greated by the Sales Manager, Ned, who congratulated us on our purchase.
I can honestly say that this was my best buying experience.

I booked a car through Holiday Autos who charged my card and issued a voucher. On presenting the voucher to the rental company they looked at it but still charged my card for a second time. I raised this with Holiday Autos via chat at the time who said at the end of the rental period it would be sorted. Nothing was ever sorted - I made a complaint but they refused to refund me the money - I asked for it to be escalated but still they refused. So the rental company has charged me and Holiday Autos has charged - both not willing to compromise. I blame Holiday Autos because they took the booking - they took my money and have refused to sort it. Awful experience with Holiday Autos - would never use them again and would caution others not to use this unreliable company. I feel like this is a scam many others may have fallen into.
Not a good and honest company. Selling you cheap rental and then you are forced to purchase an additional insurance at the rental desk of rental company or they don't rent you a car. Please avoid the company.

I rented and paid for a car, but sfter going to pick up my car. The office was a small building in the middle of a parking lot. We had to take through a video screen. I couldn't understand the rep. I did not have a major credit card. So he'd wanted a thousand dollar deposit. Then seconds later he said 600. But then for this privilege they would charge me 75 dollars. Then I asked for a supervisor and it took 5 minutes. They had been talking with each other to decide what she was going to tell me. I doubt she was even a supervisor. They refused to refund my purchase. Do no use them.

Read the reviews! They are a terrible company, they insurance does not protect you in any way, they request 4000.00 hold upfront, I went all the way to Rome and find out this company has no protection for me, I did not take the car and was told I would get a refund, I have not received it yet and the company refused it after saying they would. They are a scam do yourself a favor and go by the reviews, that is what its there for. Horrible!
What a terrible company. I booked a car for pick up at Heathrow T5 and they changed it to T2. When I realised I contacted them but as was within 48hrs they would not change / cancel without a charge. My wife has mobility issues, combined with late arrival, heading to different terminal was not an option - besides, we had specially booked to pick up at T5. I had to cancel and have paid the charge and now can not get a sensible response out of them. What a load of rubbish and NEVER use this service.
I do not recommend using this company. We were supplied with a faulty Fiat 500 at Barcelona airport that refused to start unless pushed to jump start. Following a number of phone calls, no replacement car was supplied or offered. I have now been charged over £250 as we had the temerity to call their 'Road Assistance' number in the hope that the issue would be resolved. It wasn't! I do not see why we should have to pay this extra sum when the problem was not of our making and the fault was clearly with the car.
I feel that I have been completely fobbed off by Mariem at the Holiday Autos customer care team. I think it would be a good idea to remove the word 'care' as they clearly don't!
I booked with Holiday Autos thinking I was getting a good deal, but they did not honour the booking and refused to give me a refund for the money paid. I had to rent from another company and so ended up paying for two cars. NEVER rent with Holiday Autos - they are actually thieves! How can people like this sleep at night.
So I have paid the money but won't give me the car cause I came 2 hours late due to flight delay.
I regret booking and trusting them, spoiled my mood big time om vacation.
