About Me

I don’t blame people for making mistakes. However, I will hold those accountable who blatantly make attempts to take advantage of the consumer & just don’t care. 🤷‍♂️

How I Can Help

I will challenge any company or entity no matter how big or small that does not do right by the consumer. I write reviews that are honest, fair and most importantly to protect those consumers who cannot protect themselves. I will expose the good, the bad & the UGLY.

Interests

Fishing. Gun Range. Going after SCAM Artists.

We were not happy with the cheeseburger combos or hotdogs. They did not taste good.

This company did reach out to me and mailed a replacement coupon to try them again.

3 stars for now until we try the food again and then a updated post will be made.

Re: Millennium Management - Beachwood, Ohio. Oakwood Estates - Olmsted Twp. Ohio

If you are considering moving here….pack a very thick wallet of cash along with a lot of patience and kiss your security deposit goodbye.

My mother in law moved here many years ago and has finally moved out.

Millennium Management has raised the rent year after year after year. The first year was a $120 increase per month & every year after that has averaged $60+ per month. The rent will now increase an additional $160 per month for 2024. ($580+ rent increases over a 7 year period.)

While it is understandable that rent increases at a moderate rate….,Millennium Management raises the rent for every single little thing and or repair. Eventually, a repair or upgrade will be paid in full so there is no reason to force residents to pay for something X's 1,800%.

Management asked me why my mother in law was moving out? Aside from sky rocket rent increases and very LAZY repairman and staff….my mother in law has dealt with a 24 a day annoying running toilet for 3+ months and a non-working stove for 4+ days. (They said that a non-working stove is NOT considered an emergency repair call & it would be up to an additional 7-10 day wait for a repair.)

As of 12/26/23 we were DONE with this nonsense and notice to vacate was given to them. I turned off the water to one of the toilets and I got her a toaster oven for her remaining 1 month jail sentence so that she could have some form of hot meals.

I wanted to insure that the apartment was satisfactory to their standards and management refused to perform a walk thru after vacating the apartment. (How are we supposed to know what's wrong & fix a problem?) A gallon of white paint is $15. They also refused to issue a receipt for key returns for the apartment and their broken gate.

Millennium Management ONLY showed concern when they were told that we are not dealing with them anymore.

Lastly, smoking was permitted in her apartment. This company kept her security deposit and charged an additional $1,837 for "smoke & soot damage".

1. My mother in law smoked a few times per week with the window open, an Air Cleaner running and the bedroom door closed.

2. The "soot damage" was from their furnace that we constantly complained about and they did nothing to repair it. They said that the "soot" was from burning candles. My mother in law NEVER burned a single candle here. E.V.E.R!

What I find amazing is $1,837 for paint & labor. Who are they to determine smoke damage? What expert did they call for an opinion? I knew well in advance that this was going to happen. This is what scam artists do. They will come up with any poor excuse to get as much money out of you even when you move out.

We have (3) separate video's of the apartment from top to bottom and side to side after vacating.

They were upset that she moved out and would have to move their lazy arms & legs a little bit to do some actual work.

It's a shame that she had to move and was forced on to food stamps for her final 2 years of occupancy.

At one point I gave Arturo's a 5 star rating for many, many years.

Lately, they have not been full-filling delivery orders correctly and have been rude on the phone. We either do not get what we were supposed to get or we get the wrong item(s).

2 days a go, I ordered the following:

1. Fish Sandwich with coleslaw & tartar sauce.

1. Side salad and extra ranch dressing.

I received no tartar sauce and got potato chips & a side salad with (1) blue cheese dressing.

When we do ask for potato chips with food, we ask them to put them in a separate container because the steam from hot foods & styrofoam make the chips soggy. Arturo's gets our request correct about 25% of the time.

The choice of soup is only correct about 50% of the time.

If errors like this are going to continue, our family will be forced to do business elsewhere and we order 2-3 times per month.

I have called the restaurant 3 - 4 times over several years to voice my concerns. Every time I call, I am told that no manager is available to speak to me and I am promised a call back that never happens.

I have given Arturo's several chances to get things right. 2 stars for now until things get better.

Tip for consumers:
Employee’s need to pay attention to what they are doing.

Today was the 1st time ordering food at this location.

The food is excellent and very tasty.

The Beef N Broccoli & Sweet N Sour Chicken was incredible.

The entire experience would have been a tad better, had DoorDash NOT run over my driveway cone upon delivery but this is NOT the restaurants fault.

Good Job!

Junk Snowblower. I paid over $1,100 for a snowblower that I have used 2x's and for less than 45 minutes total.

My concrete apron is about 3/4" inch higher than my black top driveway.

I rubbed up against a high spot on the driveway (which is my fault of course) & the entire gear box is tore up inside.

Cub Cadet estimates over $550 in labor and parts for (1) $36.51 Worm Gear and $36.00 for (4) Ball Bearings. - $72.51

Absolutely crazy beyond crazy for repair costs.

Luckily my son in law is an engineer for a major lawn mower and snowblower company.

He got all new OEM parts needed for $45 out the door and the entire gearbox, gears, bearings & axle has been successfully rebuilt in under 1 hour.

The cotter pins on the tines should have broken off in order to avoid damage to gears which did NOT happen.

Finally, the representative at Cub Cadet argued with me that they don't send parts to customers and that only authorized dealers can obtain them. (I am not too sure why the Cub Cadet website gives me the option to purchase parts and put them in my cart.)

Poor service & poor value. Inferior design and J.U.N.K cheap parts.

I still have a 1996 Craftsman Snowblower that works to this day that has taken 1,000's more bumps & bruises and never failed me.

If your driveway is not as flat as a mirror….be ready for a repair. I highly suggest wrapping your Cub Cadet equipment with thick diapers to limit any damages.

  • The Honey Baked Ham Co.

12/21/23

I hate to say it but Honey Baked Hams are a waste of money.

Very expensive and by the time I get 1/2 way thru it….its nothing but hard meat and fat.

I don't expect a ham to be spiral sliced 100% of the way but over the years past, the slicing only makes it about 1/2 way. The glaze comes off in chunks and is only good to eat like candy by itself.

We end up throwing 1/2 of the ham in the trash along with a 3 pound useless bone.

  • Zippo

I have owned Zippo Lighters for well over 40 years.

They are the most dependable and reliable lighters that I have ever owned.

Over the years, I have sent in lighters for repairs and adjustments. This company is not only super fast with repairs….they also have never charged me a single cent even when it's obvious that damage has occurred on my end.

They pay attention to details and will ship back sentimental items that are beyond a repair.

Well Done!

I have had my 42" Ariens Lawn Tractor for 10+ years.

Incredibly dependable and a work horse.

The only major item that I have had to replace is the battery which lasted about 5 years.

Replacement parts are easy to get, affordable and last quite a long time.

Great Value!
