  • Gigheaven

2/23/24

Got a Gigheaven.com email inviting me to add Youtube videos to my listing page. I noticed that there was a customer inquiry counter which stated 1 enquiry. However, there were none in the messages page. That's the first site bug. Since Gigheaven does not allow contact info to display, that potential gig is now disappeared. Here is the second site bug: After I added a Youtube link, everything in my "active listing" was erased. I am not going to waste any further time on this Gigheaven clown site, no pun intended. Btw, Gigheaven is offering an "upgrade", at additional cost.

See my ad which contains the word, stairlift. Then see my second screen grab with a kijiji search for the same word, stairlift. The search did not list my ad, which has been there for months. In the meantime, the site keeps pestering me to upgrade my ad. Scammer site.

1. Used Instagram posts to try to profile me racially. Then FB suggested posts based on its profiling.
2. Locked or disabled account when I joined male-only groups.
3. Kept on suggesting scantily-clad fashion models in military backgroupnds despite my repeated "stop this" preferences.
4. Locked account after I uploaded a screengrab from a conservative video ste.
5. Made my Samsung phone run hot and drained battery from 55% to 9% quickly.
6. Locked account despite Likes received from technical-tool groups (where I am an expert, and won awards for) for my replies to help-seekers within the group. However FB did not lock replies from other replies that had incorrect solutions.

Posts go nowhere. And even if it sez your photo is shared, it is not shared. See a hashtag that several days ago had content from more than one small business. After I upkoaded my photo to this hashtab, all of the content disappeared. See my screengrab.

Their website has everything that I used to buy from Amazon Canada.
Prices are lower, mostly. Also has Product Reviews, from purchasers.

* Full Title, too long, lol: Lowest prices, replies to my inquiries, no provincial tax outside Ontario, waived $79 minimum for free shipping because the company only had 60% of my order items in stock. Saving me a lot! Toll-free phone line. Small company in a small town.

UPDATE: Company edited (redacted) my review, but left review "stars" intact.

Buttondown.email says I subscribed and my credit card will be charged. However, I did not subscribe to a pay-for newsletter.

Tip for consumers:
Never give out a credit card or date of birth.

Deleted or cancelled people that I clicked Follow buttons on. Also noticed that Replies by Creators to their viewers' Comments disappeared. I have a screengrab from my own Dashboard as proof. Logic militates that Tiktok also cancelled people who tried to Follow me.

We own several test instruments and meters for checking for cancer-causing nitrates, which has a regulatory limit of 10 Parts Per Million for municipal drinking water. Pet fish get sick at 25 ppm and usually die by 40 ppm. Sungiven's produce and coconut water (from Vietnam) have the lowest nitrate readings among approximately 7 brands.

Downtown White Rock BC supermarkets are compelled to lower their prices...
1) when the farmers market is open
2) since Sungiven started attracting more customers
3) since dollar stores expanded their foods for sale
4) the local economy tanked
5) food prices shot up

I bought mooncakes for their double york because local eggs contain 600 to 900 ppm of nitrate chemicals.

  • Interac.ca

12/7/23

Recently received an etransfer for the first time. To receive this and deposit, required two trips to my financial institution because setup was unduly complex even tho I let the bank tellers (3 required) to handle my device. Required giving Interac.ca my *full* bank account logins. This is very worrisome to me, since headline news state many apparently hacked accounts or data breaches. After a 15 minute conversation, I intend to comply with a teller's advice to CHANGE MY LOGINS. What a huge time waster!

Tip for consumers:
I would not do this again!!!

Alive Health Centre stores are in many malls in Metro Vancouver. Prices much lower than other retail shops and supermarkets in metro Vancouver. Per unit weight price for magnesium was less than half of Dollarama's price.

Tip for consumers:
They sell castor oil IN GLASS BOTTLES. Nice!!!!!!

Was sent approx $200. After 3 trips, I hadda' give up. This company used alibi's to hang on to the money in transit. See my self-explanatory screen grab. Also, the $7.50 transfer fee was high.

Tip for consumers:
Next time, I would get a physical gift delivered, instead of money being transferred.

  • Walmart Canada

A puzzle was listed for $3 so I went to store, but none in stock, and oddly, none of the many similar listing were in stock in their biggest store in Surrey BC, in this city, beside a huge transit terminal. Also bought a cleaning liquid that smelled worse than cat pee. No hint in this product that it could cause sneezing, gagging, for days. Four people who checked stock in two floors could find this liquid. Also, it contained no enzymes, per its Material Safety Data Sheet. Walmart has a common law duty to check product it sells. I located it myself. Prices are higher than Superstore, generally. Much higher than Dollarama in the same mall, sometime 300% higher.

Tip for consumers:
Shop at either of the two dollar stores in this mall

They used to have a commission- only fee, (like Gigsalad has today) but TheBash.com had a $20 minimum that was not disclosed to me. In circa 10 years, i had only two bites with this platform... One was a cancelled gig, but bash/gigmasters tried to ram a charge, anyway. The other gig was under $90 iirc, and i was shocked by the high commission. I do not trust this company's guarantee. I see that positive reviews Re for merchandise with SKU numbers. Imo, those are fake since TheBash does not sell stuff. On Trustpilot, TheBash has 3x more reviews than GigSalad (?!) I do not believe Trustpilot positive reviews cuz Truztpilot gets a fee. Performers like us know how many bookings each other is really getting from platforms since we are members of artists and performers associations. Imo, TheBash gets less than half of Gigsalad in our area. Much less. (Some performers artificially boost their booking stats. Quite evident when the # of reviews exceed the # of confirmed bookings.) The Bash sent this recent email with a "time-limited" (not!) Discount supposedly. It is clickbait. The $59 membrrship is open to anyone. But to do that, i would have to provide my credit card. Too much pain to be blocking this company and getting a new credit card issued to me should TheBash try more trickery. Btw, notice that The Bash gets a 4.9 stars on Trustpilot and waaay lower on BBB and SiteJabber?

Been using $15/month no-contract since circa 2018 when Shaw Communications owned FM. Got ripped off by Telus and Rogers prior. Since Quebecor/Videotron bought FM, payment errors started with a new credit card. The FM text message link went to an error page. Their cs by text looped back asking the same question ad nauseam. Payment attempts failed due to "system error". Paid via a person who set up Autopay, but so minutes later, got a failure text message. Talked again to a live person who now says, that all ok, and to ignore that 'Autopay failure' text message. (Also, my Visa card would not allow Autopay.)

Incoming calls go into voicemail with 1 bar signal. Text messages worldwide are okay always.

My Note 8 purchased from FM is supposed to work with WiFi calling, but does not. Store techies could not fix this. If I buy another phone, I would first have the store prove the phone works with WiFi calling.

I am satisfied with my $15 monthly payments.

Received an email claiming I'm not getting the 70% of the proceeds of my videos which I priced from $3 to $100 each, approximately; despite my dashboard showing thousands of paid-for views. The video here has the numbers and proof.
I am a V.O.D. (Video On Demand) video maker on Michael Allen Adams' Brighteon video platform. https://www.$#*!ute.com/video/khvEYIfSnsLk/

Tip for consumers:

Was surprised that Paypal could just freeze my money. Even more surprised that Paypal has done this to an enormous number of customers. Then, I learned about Wells Fargo in ZeroHedge yesterday. Reader comments mentioned Paypal as doing similar misdeeds. Many victim stories like mine on $#*!ute Brighteon and other non-censored video sites. Even the untrustworthy-now Trustpilot has 10,000's of victim posts.

Tip for consumers:
Remove your credit card then cancel it. See Zerohedge reader comments.

Always trusted Trustpilot in the past. Was recently very surprised with their pro-big bank deletion of my obviously real post which is similar to the last 10 negative reviews. This bank has a 1.2 rating. Then I saw that Trustpilot sells its services to companies now. Well, that is a conflict of interest imo. Yelp is another site that gets paid by companies. So, be aware. Buyer beware.

Amazon makes its own decisions often contrary to common law. I get refunds because of false advertising, which were caught by my patient group's technical staff's testers and meters. Most of my purchases (from 120 to 220 orders in a 90-day period) are for my patients' therapy, and many sellers are advertising fraudulent specifications... including seller frauds, and products that could have caught fire or exploded, and/or, could have caused our fire insurance to be cancelled because they are not legal for sale in BC, Canada:

E.g. Seller HongPinShangMao falsely advertised a button-top 3400maH 20A-drain (low internal resistance) battery. Then HongPinShangMao deleted the listing after I ordered, so I cannot show a photo of my battery analyzer stating <2000 mAH only. Furthermore, my analyzer shows the internal resistance is only 55 miliohms to 110 milliohms -- not the 15 millohms that is the 20A-drain average. Return postage is $138

Other examples.

UPDATED TO 1-STAR Unit #3 of 4 purchased: Dead on arrival, see photo, an internal part is cracked and warped Unit #4 of 4 purchased: One of the flat-top unprotected ******* cells was upside-down in its chamber. Had our staff not been lucky, or had been in a hurry, a fire or explosion may have ensued when the light was charged. The batteries are shipped by Wurkkos in a partially-charged state.

Sold by: WurkkosDirect
WurkkosDirect has a duty, and failed in its duty under Common Law and the Universal Commercial Code (the "UCC), to disclose that HD20's (electrically-improper) draw 9V from USB chargers. Seller failed to live up to its refund promise to compensate us for destruction of our Power Meter and our Voltage Converter caused by its 9V draw and its faulty Power Bank feature.

Order# *******675-*******__
See photos. See 2 photos. 11C hotter. Output exceeds some devices' voltage maximums.

I have many "returns" which are actually refunds due to faulty products or illegally-sold products in contravention of BC's electrical safety laws.

Its customer service online chat feature has been non-functioning for over a year.

By deleting safety or fire insurance info by verified purchasers, while allowing such products to continue to be sold, in my opinion Amazon is liable for ultra vires actions in a lawsuit like Whiten vs Pilot Insurance Co. Wherein huge punitive damages were awarded by courts and a jury.
