I love everything about quilthome.com - the selection of fabrics and customer service are out of this world! Plus, the 'sale of the day' is addicting for a fabric lover - who can resist 25% off collections from Amy Butler, Kaffe Fassett, Tula Pink, etc?! I check the site daily to make sure I don't miss out!
Don't forget to order a few of their surprise endings - you can pick a grab bag from certain designers and get 2 yards for less than $10. I've discovered some of my now favorite fabrics via these grab bags!
Alright, I'm beginning to sound like a creepy infomercial, but after bashing fabric.com I figured I need to put a little positive karma out there for a fabric site that more than deserves it. Plus, one of my pet peeves is people bashing something but offering no alternative. That being said: make the upgrade from fabric.com to quilthome.com... it's the best switch I've made all year!

Seeing all of these reviews makes me feel better - at least I'm not alone in my bad experience! I probably order from fabric.com 3-4x a year and have noticed they refuse to sell certain fabrics at sale prices. Even when they include these prints and designers in their sales, they somehow magically end up 'out of stock' before they can fulfill the order. This happened to me THREE TIMES IN A ROW with the same fabric... yet it was obviously restocked at least twice. Just don't list it in the sale if you don't plan on SELLING it for a discounted price. I find their business practices shady and not worth the gamble. It's time to start putting my money where my mouth is - I will no longer order from fabric.com. I've recently discovered www.quilthome.com and am so happy I have! The site and their customer service are 100x better than fabric.com. If you need a fabric fix (and who doesn't?) check out www.quilthome.com - I'm their new biggest fan;-)
