Why the price gouging and my way or the highway attitude

Answer:

They do not care about customer retention. That being said. I have to believe it is the poorest business model I have ever come in contact with.

I was about to switch from fios to spectrum, but after reading all the reviews i don't think i will. i have never seen so many poor reviews.

Answer:

You're smart to stay with FIOS. Spectrum is the worst cable company around. They're very expensive and your bill will start creeping up every other month without any explanation. Avoid Spectrum!

Answer:

They could give a $#*! - they create a monopoly in the area and do whatever they want - raise the rate, intimidate, and are very rude and no help to customers!

Is your customer service as bad as everyone's saying?

No I can't say it's customer service cause they just answer the phone and set appointments but they mess up sometimes but I'm gonna rate the customer service department as good cause they just type the problem in and it goes out to the technical department but that's were the problem is

Question:

Anyone else have 1-2 tv channels that pixelate & then go entirely blank/black? other channels r fine except channel i'm watching! maddening! why?!?

Answer:

Yes that has happened to me 3 times. Spectrum directed me to unplug their box then wait around 10 minutes for the box to reboot. The third time they said I may need the box to be replaced.

It is the sales department not the billing agents that are lying to the customer just to get the commission

Why does spectrum charge you for the whole month when you disconnect service? that's like theft...?

Answer:

That's their business model. Don't refund for services not used. It's a subscription service and they're always right!

How come a new customer can get a better package deal than a 14 year customer?

Welcome to Spectrum. For those of us who were with Time Warner for years prior to the acquisition we found out customer loyalty went with TIme Warner when they left.

What is the best way to provide customer feedback and talk to someone who can make a decision?

Answer:

You can call and make a complaint. Someone with absolutely no authority to act upon your probably sincere desire for better service will transcribe your words and sent them off where they may or may not be reviewed. The only real ability to have to connect with someone who can make a "decision" is if you're negotiating the terms of a service arrangement, in which case just play hardball, or keep calling back in until you get what you want.
