As a photographer looking for models, I was very happy with the result. I posted a casting notice and really good models applied. I contacted a few of them and shot with my favourite. She was really professional and full of ideas and suggestions how we could take my creative process further. Modelmanagement.com worked great for this and i haven't paid a thing to the site, so a good tool for photographers I would say.

Found 0 castings through the platform in months. Then realized that its impossible to find anything through it. After months forgot about its existence, they just debit 100 euros from my card without any notification, and when I text customer service that I won't need the service and asked for a refund, they just refuse. Feel like being scammed. Don't give your money to this nonsense platform.

Very bad experience. Had account for many years. Created casting calls and suddenly my account went into review. Cannot communicate with models I was talking to nor see new applicants. Customer service is quite bad. It seems that they do not see what I write just answer some general text that does not respond to specific questions. They take days to respond with no resolution. They claim it is for quality but there are so many profiles that are quite bad and border on fake. I finally and didn't get me nowhere. Each time it takes at least a week to get some standard message.

Update: After contacting higher ups at the company, Model Managment has reversed their decision and issued me a refund. I am revising my rating to 3 stars. While I should not have gone through all of this trouble to get my money back, they made good on their mistakes.

I believe the service is useful for models and photographers to meet and collaborate on projects but the no refund policy and silent billing should still give you some pause when deciding to do business with them. Please know what you're getting into before agreeing to a paid plan. Hopefully they revise their policies to be more friendly to subscribers.

I used the service last year but no longer needed it. I canceled on my renewal date when I saw the pending charge and was informed that I have been canceled and my service will stop NEXT YEAR!

When I told them I needed it canceled now, they refused to do so and denied my request for a refund.

They will tell you that you could have canceled at any time before renewal but now that it has renewed, too bad. You are stuck with Model Management for another year whether you want it or not.

They will even point out that they can't refund you because it's listed in their vague and confusing terms of service policies and stand by that to refuse the refund. They will make it feel like it's was all your fault and because you didn't cancel in time, your hard earned money is theirs to keep. They will then ignore any further pleas to get you refund and pretend they don't hear you thinking you will just give up and accept it.

Um, NO!

I don't care if you sent me info a year ago stating you would bill me. The fact of the matter is that you should be sending a renewal notice before the renewal happens. What are you afraid of? Cancellation? Churn numbers that will upset your investors? What is one dishonest company to do in the face of this?

The reason they are not notifying you is because they want you to lose track of the billing date so they can charge you and then stand by their questionable no refund policy to keep your money. That's if you notice the charge at all. Many people don't. Silent billing practices are common among predatory businesses and it's set up this way by design. It's an awful way to do business and I worked for several companies who used this horrible practice. Mostly it's done to pad their churn numbers so they can impress their investors. Too many cancellations can jeopardize funding for the company. So instead of producing a quality service, you get tactics like this.

The good news is these policies do not stand up to any legal scrutiny so don't be intimidated by this company telling you no and making you feel like you have no recourse. File a dispute with your bank. Report this company to your State Attorney General. File complaints with any and all consumer protection agencies available to you. Don't let companies like this just walk away with your money. You have rights, don't be afraid to exercise them to the fullest extent possible.

Watch your wallet. Bad billing practices.

As a pro tog I am on a lot of sites but trying to join this one floored me.
Believe it or not you cannot join unless you use Instagram. After they've made you jump through several hopps they then insist you link your profile to Instagram. I don't use it, never have and never will. I emailed them to tell them I don't use it and they just kinda said 'well you can't join then' But in a more long-winded way. Absolutely ridiculous. There's a lot of good sites out there guys. Avoid this one like the plague.

I was sceptical at first but found some really good models for my shoots. Practical when you travel a lot as photographer as it's easy to check for new models anywhere. Also nice team, professional and responsive!

Several indices tend to make believe that several accounts seem false. The renewal of the subscription was done automatically, without warning to the subscriber in the prior days. However, ModelManagement does not hesitate to communicate with the members quite often, by sending them messages, in order to promote the supposed new members (models). Some profiles are real, but many seem fake and not a real person. The company behind this website does not seem to back down from questionable practices.

I applied to many castings and I got few TFP shoots. It was nice as I got super nice quality pictures without paying. Did not get yet paid projects, but happy as eventually it paid off as I got great quality pictures. Would recommend.

I haven't made an income in over 10 years due to health and recently got divorced I just started making money training horses in the last month and the last couple of weeks I have been dealing with health stuff again and couldn't work so I haven't gotten paid. Absolute scam! I have canceled subscription a year ago now I was charged $120 for next year how in the world the subscription is active again? Now I'm getting emails from them saying "it was automatic renewal it can't be refunded". What a BS! No, you are scammers and you are stealing money! Give me my money back you thieves!

I am a professional headshot photographer. I joined Model Management hoping to find new people to work with. Despite providing both a professional website link which contains customer reviews and substantial photographic evidence I was disapproved to join based on the lack of clicks on my instagram from models. I thought this was a very poor way to treat a photographer who is building on work. When I placed a review on trust pilot they then challenged my experience as ingenuine. If your a creative, dont use this site.

I was charged $99 for a recurring premium membership on 6/29/22 that I made in 2021. I thought I cancelled the membership and I NEVER RECIEVED A RENEWAL NOTICE. So I requested a refund as I no longer use modelmanagment.com and haven't done so in months. I sent an email to modelmanagement.com membership requesting a refund on 6/29/22. I was told that they do not offer refunds for renewal, but I had no idea about the renewal until I was charged.

It is highly UNETHICAL to charge people for something that can't be refunded without giving them a chance to cancel with a renewal notice.

I love this platform - so many possibilites, so well thought: it gives the user so many options, and it's extremely intuitive at the same time. You can create your own profile for free and apply for castings, contact photographers... very powerfull tool.

They charged the renewal of my account while I already had canceled it and they refuse to give me back the money they illegally stole from me. A real scam, half of the offers are fake and most of it are male photographers looking to shoot woman in lingerie. A real shame for the artist, they are thieves in disguise.

DON'T DO ANYTHING WITH THEM.
there is absolutely no service, except they will rob your money without hesitation. They stole from my credit card while I had canceled the membership. Lost of money and time, invest yourself anywhere else than with these thieves.

I purchased this service a year ago, and used few times to connect the local photographers from the application. You apply into castings none of the big castings turn back, applications sit there. I stop using the application after few months of my purchase, I did not see any value. I thought this was a one time purchase, I did through their website. In nowhere in my phone there was a sign that I am still subscribed to this service after a year. On April 2nd, the day of my renewal I received an email that is a purchase confirmation. Until that point, there was no alert about the renewal. I went ahead and checked the charge from my online banking saw it is "Pending". Immediately cancelled subscription and reached out to the customer service. I am hoping that they are going to immediately cancel the charge. Instead, they said it is too late. I explained multiple times how I was blindsided and how I was not noticed whatsoever from anywhere that this charge is gonna go through that day except of the purchase confirmation email. This customer service is not to serve customer or protect their rights but just to persuade you to give up on your money. I said I have not been using this service over 6 months. This is a full year subscription I do not want to pay this amount for a service I did not even use over 6 months and not planning to use at all. They did not help me. I opened a dispute and they turned back to my email by saying they can make an exception and give 50% refund if I cancel the dispute. Otherwise I lose my chance to get half of my money back. I have been going back and forth with these people telling me that no refunds then telling me that 50% compromise on the money they take from my account because my credit card is on file. I never felt this disappointed about a service I gave it a try before. I don't how much they need my money to survive but they literally acting like I am responsible of the amount they charge me out of my control. Never been put into such misery because I agreed on "the terms" which is "required" to purchase this online service anyways.

Please be careful about the purchases you make. The company does not have a solid customer service, refund policy. All the policy rules are vague and does not made to protect the consumer rights. Neither policy nor the customer service protects you when it comes to purchases. Make a personal reminder for yourself about the purchases and be careful about the subscriptions because you were not notified until it is too late. They are greedy about money.

It is an model management app where you can see the posted casting and apply for casting online as a model. I did a one year premium trial.

modelmanagement.com just stole money from my bank account.
Context:

I payed a premium membership on this site at april 2021 hoping i get some opportunity on modeling, i just apply 100+ castings and events, not even 1 notification or interest from this FAKE companys so after 5 months i just STOP of login on this site or APP, the day 31/03/2022 i just log in after almost 6 months and cancel my membership and also eliminate my account the surprise hits me when date 01/04/2022 i just get charged by 89.0 euros, supposed to be the renewal of my membership, but i send emails and always the same answer, they dont make refounds, so i ask what can i do? And they say to me that neither me or they can do anything my account does not exist and they cant refound, so they obbligates me to pay for a service that i cant use. Be aware of this sick company stay away good luck. Hope this review change your mind and save your money.
